Check Out Sincerely Amor’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sincerely Amor.

Hi Sincerely, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve always had a thing for the music world. Rather it was through dance or song, I started my journey at the very young age of 6 in my hometown of Omaha, Nebraska. I became a leader of our local drill team, The Condors, in which there I became knowledgeable of my gift, developed leadership qualities, and my love for the center stage. Soon after, my childhood best friend and I, started our own singing group, The Lyrical Angelz, under the wing of producer Brad Dacus and one of Omaha’s most influential legends, Toot. With their guidance, I learned my voice, perfected songwriting, and began recording. Alongside my music career, I found the love of Natural Hair Care and protective styling and created my very own product, Amor’s Hair Pudding, where we believe “everything is better when it’s touched with love!” Moving to Dallas allowed me to grow into my artistry and elevate my brand into the local DFW music scene while managed by local Artist/Entrepreneur Christoph “FrXsH” Burton. Upon releasing my first single, #FWM, I collaborated with local artist and brands as well as promotion for nightclubs and special events around the DFW; such as the yearly Juneteeth FTW Celebration. Needless to say, it’s been a road filled with growing experiences

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Honestly, obstacles are a part of the process. I’ve learned to always appreciate the place you’re in as well as grow through them but most importantly, FINISH. One of my favorite reminders I always take with me, “Yes, you may be going through hell, but who wants to stay there? Keep going.” I utilize this in all aspects in life when taking on challenges. COVID halted things for a lot of artist in the beginning, but, one obstacle I learned to adapt to by continuing to stay creative!

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
For me, music unleashes my soul. Floetry was one of my greatest inspirations growing up. Seeing the style, they brought to the scene helped me become more aware of my natural state physically and mentally. I learned to turn my poetry into songs and created relatable pieces to connect to my audience. My middle name is Amor, so love is something that’s been embedded in me. Rather it’s heartbreak or the most joyful time, it’s real, so vibe with me!

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
I definitely see myself in front of larger crowds and bigger stages! Initially, I just hope my music does what it’s supposed to do, which is to heal and be of some therapy throughout life’s curveballs.
