Check Out T.Cody Montana’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to T.Cody Montana.

T.Cody, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started out at 7 years old with a deep love for music and drawing. Over the years I have put my mind to things pertaining to that. I would draw and design clothes on paper to now making custom clothing. I have made beats and recorded myself on different software. Everything is a learn as you go mentality with me being self-taught and motivated.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not having the money to invest in yourself can really hinder you when you’re doing everything by yourself. You either go broke trying to get things done or don’t have it.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I rap, write my own music, make beats, produce, design clothes as well as pieces of art, paint, draw, create graphic designs, and edit photos and videos. I guess you could say I specialize more in making my own music and custom clothing. I am equally tapped in with everything I do. I am most proud of being able to create. a brand that not only stands out but shows who I am. I cannot be duplicated. I have a hungry hustle and ambition as well as I am multi-talented. All my forms of art come from the heart. Everything is made from a feeling. I believe what sets me apart from others is that I never like to create anything similar to others. I’ve always tried to create my own lane and give things my own touch. I am most proud of my growth as an artist in general. Learning new methods has helped me elevate. I am most excited about the new resources I have gotten a hold to because with that I can do so much more. I got to where I am today professionally by being dedicated and making whatever I had work. I couldn’t let things stop or slow me down. Things were definitely not easy. I never had the right amount of money or the proper utensils. As I said before I was dedicated and wouldn’t let anything stop me. I continued to make my art which made everything I know self-taught. The lesson from this was you can do anything you set your mind to.

I wasn’t the world to know that my brand is all about perseverance, showing that you’re a star no matter what and killing/mastering everything you do.

My story is to inspire everyone to keep pushing no matter what.

We’d love to hear about what you think about risk-taking.
I love taking risk. I think taking risks plays a huge part in building your perception of how things can go when trying to achieve goals. I took a risk on creating my brand’s logo, not knowing if it would stick (as the ones before didn’t). Fortunately, I struck gold and now you recognize it anywhere you see it. It’s BOLD and two-toned to give a signature look. I wasn’t sure if I could ace the look but I didn’t want to pay anyone to make it for me. I’ve also taken risks on creating things not knowing if I would make the money back used for supplies by successfully selling the items. Unfortunately, nothing sold and I lost money.
