Check Out Tamisha Stuckey’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tamisha Stuckey.

Hi Tamisha, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I used to think there was humility in being silent. Silent about my fears, my goals, my struggles with depression and anxiety due to the death of my son. I was comfortable only showing who I thought people wanted me to be, which in turn pushed me to a place of never truly knowing myself or who I was. I was too frightened to be vulnerable and embarrassed to tell others that I was suffering because I was afraid cared they may see me as weak. I was popping depression medication and sleeping pills like skittles, constantly trying to escape my reality and the weight of my thoughts. I was living a facade.

In order for me to grow and get better, I needed to feel those emotions and release, and most importantly, Heal from them. In this space of uncertainty, I began to journal. Good days, bad ones, what I ate for dinner, what I planned to wear. Most of the time, it never made sense but it was a release. Everything was out onto paper. And the weight was easier to carry. I also started connecting back to myself & understanding what Self Love meant to me. I began to study crystals and how their frequency affects our bodies. I always felt good when I held my crystals while journaling, so I began to play with ideas on how to incorporate the frequency of the crystals into the pens I was using. After several attempts, the Self Love Pen was created with Rose Quartz, Gold Leaf, and Red Rose Buds as a visual reminder to love on me.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
This road has not been smooth. Their have been moments of self-doubt & stagnation. I would often ask myself, “Am I walking in Purpose?” or “What am I doing? The negative self-talk would play a major role in holding myself back. Creating false narratives of struggle and self-sabotage. In those thoughts, I purposely remember how loved I am and I keep pushing.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I handcraft Intentional Pens and Journals with the Energy of Self Love, release, and healing for the user. I believe we are creators of our realities and our tools for healing must be as intentional and powerful as our own thoughts. I am known for creating journals and/or pens that are made with Genuine crystals and Herbs that lift up your frequency and encourage you to release your thoughts. I am most proud of the Self Love Pen and Journal. It was the first thing I created with Rose Quartz, Red Rose Buds, and Gold Leaf. What sets me apart from others is I love motivating and encouraging others to be their truest, most authentic self through Journaling, Acts of Self Love, and Emotional Growth.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
Surround yourself with good people. Those that are as motivated about their goals and dreams as you. Your tribe will keep you going forward and hold you accountable. Be the energy you want to attract and everything you need will come to you. Being open to receiving advice and/or criticism in Love has truly helped me see errors and correct issues when needed. Overstanding to not take things personal but as a stepping stone to be closer to my higher self.
