Hi TaNia, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started during Covid, it started out as something I can do on the side. Then I got sick in 2021 and I wasn’t able to do makeup for a while. By the grace of God when I was healed all I wanted to do was be a striving makeup artist! When I wasn’t able to do makeup, that’s when I started to gain a deep passion. I missed the clients and bonds I’ve made. Since 2022, I’ve made focus my top focus, it’s all I can think about and I’m using the gift that God has given me to inspire others. I am where I am by putting God first and remaining humble in this industry.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There will always be some challenges in any road. If it was easy I’m sure everyone would do it. The biggest struggle is comparison. Comparing is the thief of joy. It’s important to learn from others just don’t compare because we all have a different story and upbringing.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a makeup artist, i specialize in soft glams, weddings and prom makeup. I am most known for the looks i create during prom seasons. I am proud of the clients I get meet and spend time with during their big occasions. It’s such an honor to be apart of significant days and I’m so happy to watch my clients achieve milestones. I believe I’m set apart because I listen to what my clients wants and what is a must have for their look and what will make them feel that they own the day! I ensure every look is customize to their skin type, long lasting, and ensuring they are confident!
What’s next?
I sold out for my makeup line in 2024. I am currently working on a relaunch. I want this makeup line to be bigger than ever. It’s my current focus right now! I am looking forward to working with high profile clients, and working on growing a strong social media presence.
