Check Out Torris Curry’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Torris Curry.

Torris, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
After college, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do but I needed a job. I found myself in a leasing position for a property management company and realized that I really enjoy helping people find the place they’ve been looking for. My love for helping others find their home grew and my position changed with a few property management companies. I eventually realized that I needed to take things to the next level and get my real estate license in order to help more people elevate their living and create generational wealth for themselves and their families. I hope to be able to grow as a realtor and help hundreds of people of various background find something that they can call their own. While pouring into others, I hope to pour back into myself and grow my own skills.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Getting here has not been the easiest. I had to overcome my own housing struggles as rents in Dallas began to rise. On top of that, I was studying hard trying to get my license, and still working as a full-time Leasing Agent. I had to quickly learn how to prioritize and schedule my day to manage working and studying in my downtime.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a Realtor in the DFW area and I specialize in helping clients achieve their dreams thorough real estate. I really take the time to make sure my clients understand every step of the home buying process no matter if they are the person buying or selling the home. It is important to me that my clients enjoy the process of buying a home whether it be their primary residence or building their portfolio. I’m known for helping first-time home buyers and investors begin their journey to generational wealth. I go through the contract and explain each paragraph and answer any questions so they know exactly what to expect during the process.

I believe that my diligence, attention to detail, and work ethic set me apart from the rest. I make sure that my client is well taken care of at the end of the day and gets the best bang for their buck.

What does success mean to you?
Success, to me, means that you are no longer wanting for things and livings just to make ends meet. You are truly successful when you can say without a doubt that you enjoy the life you live. Success is not defined by a dollar amount or a certain social status but a feeling of joy and fulfillment when you go to sleep at night.
