Today we’d like to introduce you to Ryan Haisten and Samantha Parker.
Ryan and Samantha, we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
Samantha Parker is a starry-eyed dreamer with six years of experience creating art. She loves to let her imagination loose and make colorful pieces for wild souls. She works in acrylic, oil, aerosol, and blacklight reactive paints very often mixing them all together to make funky textures. Her creative journey also gets crafty with embellished masks, unique jewelry, and dazzling string art mood lights titled Galactic Experiences.
She makes up the Empyreal Vybes artistic duo along with Ryan Haisten.
Ryan is a multi-media artist with ten years of experience who enjoys creating realistic, intense and surreal images. He works in acrylic, oil, aerosol, and blacklight reactive paints as well as any other medium required to bring the vision to life. The many types of projects he’s tackled from business signs to furniture have added to his experience and conspire to create a jack of all trades skill set. His unique energy creates dynamic expressions of the soul and psychedelic imaginings that are out of this universe.
We’ve been together for 9 years and have been collaborating artistically for the better part of those years. Together or solo our creative souls make unique pieces that emit wonderful energy. We breathe new life into old items with our interesting approach to recycled art, meaning we’ll beautify just about anything we can get our hands on.

We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do? Why? And what do you hope others will take away from your work?
Our art is a collaboration of styles rooted in the raw energy of graffiti and blossomed naturally into many different types of creative expression. We enjoy making beautiful, wild things that are so unique they create an unforgettable experience.
Our main source of inspiration is our enjoyment of nature intertwined with a passion for painting. We’ve surrounded ourselves with wonderful friends and family whose support and enthusiasm has always been treasured. They’ve helped bring us so many opportunities over the years that have pushed our potential.
We hope people will see the love and joy that goes into every work of art that we create. Hopefully, we can inspire others to express themselves in new ways and to cherish every moment in this world.
What do you think it takes to be successful as an artist?
Art skills come with patience through practice and perseverance, but true success comes when seeing people excited that their vision has transformed into reality. If you can make someone’s life a little brighter or connect with them through a painting, then you’ve created a moment in time that can’t be repeated, and that is a magic all its own.
Do you have any events or exhibitions coming up? Where would one go to see more of your work? How can people support you and your artwork?
Some local venues regularly let us hang art or live paint depending on timing and type of events. When we have showings we post the information on our social media via Instagram @empyreal.vybes as well as updates on our works in progress.
