Today we’d like to introduce you to Tristan Savage.
Tristan, we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
We are 4 friends from high school that started playing covers of 70’s rock tunes. After some polishing of our chops and sound we started writing original music.
We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
We create psychedelic and grungy blues inspired rock. Each one of our band members bring their own ideas and influences when writing new music. We wanted to create sounds and music that we weren’t particularly hearing in modern popular music. One message that we would like to be translated to our audiences is that music is infinite. You can create anything that you could possibly imagine or want to hear. Don’t be afraid to take chances with your art.
The sterotype of a starving artist scares away many potentially talented artists from pursuing art – any advice or thoughts about how to deal with the financial concerns an aspiring artist might be concerned about?
Move to an industry that suits your tastes and style. Don’t be afraid to talk to and collaborate ideas with people in your community.
Do you have any events or exhibitions coming up? Where would one go to see more of your work? How can people support you and your artwork?
People can find our 3 singles that we currently have released on Band camp, Spotify, iTunes/apple music, among other streaming platforms. All available for free download. As well as 3 music videos to go along with the tunes!
