Today we’d like to introduce you to Altovia McNeal.
Hi Altovia, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Sisterhood Circle Inc. started with just a simple desire: I didn’t want to do business alone. I knew I was called to something greater, and I knew that part of my purpose was tied to empowering women — especially women in business — to grow, lead, and live out their purpose boldly.
In the very beginning, there were nine founding ladies who said yes to this vision with me. We met with intention, shared openly, and built something special — a safe space for growth, support, and accountability. What began as a small circle of sisterhood has now evolved into a thriving community and movement that continues to empower women through mentorship, events, business connections, and spiritual alignment.
Sisterhood Circle Inc. was never just about networking or business — it was about walking in purpose with other powerful women, building legacy, and creating real impact. Every step along the way has been led by faith, intention, and a deep belief that your circle truly matters.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. When you answer the call to be a leader, you quickly realize that leadership isn’t something you arrive at — it’s something you grow into. The same goes for purpose. You don’t always start with all the answers, but you lean into the process and allow it to shape you.
One of the biggest challenges was learning how to navigate the dynamics of building an organization — especially a women-led space. I had to learn how to discern the genuine connections from the ones that weren’t in alignment, and that wasn’t always easy. There were moments where I took things personally, and I had to grow through that too.
There’s a level of emotional maturity that leadership demands — and for me, learning how to not take things personally, how to navigate difficult seasons with grace, and how to let go when necessary were all lessons that came with time and experience. Every challenge taught me something, and I believe those growing pains helped me become a more intentional, grounded, and purpose-driven leader.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Sisterhood Circle Inc. is more than just a business network — it’s a movement, a faith-filled sisterhood, and a safe space for women in business who are ready to grow spiritually, personally, and professionally.
At its core, Sisterhood Circle is a business support organization that provides intentional community, mentorship, and accountability for women entrepreneurs and leaders. What sets us apart is the way we blend faith, fellowship, and business strategy to help women thrive in every area of life. We don’t just talk business — we build women from the inside out.
We offer an elite membership opportunity where women gain exclusive access to mentorship — not only from me but from a circle of women who are passionate about leading and serving others. Our members receive:
• Monthly accountability calls every Thursday to stay aligned with their goals,
• Monday prayer calls to stay grounded spiritually,
• And SIS Talk Tuesdays, led by other powerhouse leaders in the group, to sharpen skills, strengthen brands, and pour into one another.
We specialize in personal development, business strategy, brand alignment, and spiritual growth. We’re known for showing up with heart, holding each other accountable with love, and reminding women that they don’t have to do business or life alone.
What I’m most proud of is the culture we’ve created. Sisterhood Circle feels like a business sorority — rooted in real connection, purpose, and support. My mission has always been to empower women to walk boldly in their calling and to give them a community where they feel seen, heard, and celebrated.
If there’s one thing I want readers to know, it’s this: Sisterhood matters. Purpose matters. And you don’t have to figure it all out alone. We’re here to walk with you.
Who else deserves credit in your story?
Absolutely — there are so many people who have played a part in the growth of Sisterhood Circle Inc., and I truly wouldn’t be where I am today without them.
First and foremost, all credit goes to God. This vision was birthed from Him, and I continue to be led by His guidance every single step of the way.
Next, I have to honor my husband — my best friend, my biggest supporter. He sees me, understands my purpose, and lovingly shares me with the women I’m called to serve. That kind of support is rare, and I’m grateful for his sacrifice and constant encouragement.
My family also deserves so much credit. There are times when I’m not as present as I’d like to be because I’m pouring into this organization and our women, and their understanding and grace mean everything to me.
I’m incredibly thankful for my active founding members, especially Tiffani, who is truly my right hand — always showing up, supporting the vision, and serving with excellence. I also want to honor my mother, who has always supported me and stood beside me. A special shoutout to Regina, another founding member who believed in this movement from day one.
And I’d be remiss not to honor the memory of our beloved founding member, Angelle, who recently transitioned. Her presence and contribution helped lay the foundation for everything Sisterhood Circle stands for.
Lastly, I want to give major credit to the entire Sisterhood Circle community. These women believed in the vision, aligned with the mission, and trusted me to lead — and that trust has fueled everything we’ve built.
It’s never been just me — it’s always been we.
