Hi Andrew, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Founded by Andrew Thompson, a former Army infantry veteran with multiple deployments, our company is rooted in a rich history of dedication, excellence, and integrity. After serving our country, Andrew transitioned to the civilian workforce, bringing with him a commitment to the high standards he upheld in the military.
Andrew began his post-military career in the high-end RV repair industry. However, he soon realized that the moral compass of the business did not align with his. This realization spurred him to move to a renowned Airstream customization company known for its exceptional treatment of clients and high-quality craftsmanship. Here, Andrew refined his skills in customizing and fully rebuilding luxury RVs, transforming them into veritable works of art. His experiences there, combined with a vision of integrating strong moral values into business operations, led to the creation of RV Repair Men.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not at all
We started this business in 2016 out of the side door of my wife’s minivan, after working a full day at my normal job
Then we bought a truck and a trailer, still worked only when I wasn’t at my full time job
We finally went full time in 2018, built up a thriving business, made it through covid in colorado, to move down to our new permanant home, Texas in 2022 and start all over again
We slowly rebuilt a reputation in a new state

We are a, Christian, Veteran Family owned and operated RV Repair business out of azle, tx
We specialize in high end/ proper repairs to rv’s, travel trailers, and horse trailers. We do everything but body work
We are the most thorough repair facility around, we check through each unit that comes through and let customers know what we find
We are the only factory certified nucamp, truma and aquahot repair facility around
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
When you do things correctly, your customers end up not having to spend as much In the long run.
Maintenance is very important, the small investment saves a ton of money in the long run
