Community Highlights: Meet Bea Dalmacio of “Love Story” Wedding Services/Bea Dalmacio Content

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bea Dalmacio

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My story begins when I started my career as a elementary special education teacher after graduating from the University of North Texas. I taught for 3.5 years, but unfortunately found myself feeling burnt out and needing a career shift. My boyfriend at the time (now fiancé!) had recently quit his 9-5 job to start his business, Ruff Duty Pet Waste Removal and encouraged me to take the jump myself. I wrapped up the 2021 school year with my students and said goodbye to teaching. I began my road to entrepreneurship with what I felt most comfortable doing- working with children. I began babysitting and tutoring for families part time and grew my small business to 10 families! It gave me a sense of fulfillment to see where I started and how I’ve grown with many, many lessons along the way. Although I stayed busy with balancing my work schedule, working with 10 families, and continuing to pivot my career in the direction I wanted it to go, I also found a passion for creating content. It amazes me that social media creates community, I enjoy making people laugh and it serves as a creative outlet for me to express myself. I find the psychology and process of holding an audience’s attention to get more views and studying editing styles of other content creators to be incredibly intriguing. The last and current part of my story is that I began utilizing my other skill sets of organizing and planning, along side my love for love, to start my wedding management/partial planning business, “Love Story”. In my daily and work life, my planner is my best friend. I love “to-do lists,” and the satisfaction of crossing things off, so naturally doing this for a living made sense. I truly enjoy watching two people on their wedding day, seeing them in love, and celebrating their love all while being surrounded by their favorite people. It is such a blessing to be a part of!

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Like most, if not all people who started a business, my entrepreneurship journey was and still is not a walk in the park, but has been one of the most fulfilling moves I’ve made in life thus far. It’s definitely about finding your passion, always staying true to you, perseverance and a mental toughness game. There have been countless times, especially in the beginning, where I thought “oh my goodness, was this a mistake?”. I underestimated the hard work it took, I felt insecure financially and in my abilities to “make it”, but God is good and always provides.

We’ve been impressed with “Love Story” Wedding Services/Bea Dalmacio Content, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I started making content for fun and later found myself enjoying the process of making a good video. I later saw the potential it had to make money by getting paid to make content for businesses and later promote my own. I continue making funny and relatable videos using audio from instagram and now have found my little niche making videos about things I enjoy and snippets about my life in “vlog” form (also all while being funny). Brand wise, I’m most proud that I have found my voice and stay true to myself when posting on social media because it’s very easy to lose sight in who you are when it comes to the internet due to judgement, comparison and standards. I want readers to know that I enjoy spreading joy and positivity through my videos and making content with a touch of humor because let’s be honest, who doesn’t like to laugh?

Now my latest endeavor! I mixed my love for love and my love for attention to details, planning/organizing and providing a good service all into one to create: “Love Story”. My main goal is to give couples the ultimate experience when it comes to their special day and the days, weeks and months leading up to it. What I think sets me apart from others and what I am most proud of brand wise is that I am an “all-in” type of person. When a couple chooses me as their wedding manager, I will give it my all to ensure their day is magical and as stress free as possible. I want readers to know I offer both partial planning and wedding management services in the North Texas/Dallas area!

What matters most to you?
What I value most in life is God and my family. My faith is my foundation in all that I do. My biggest blessing in life is my family and they have and continue to be my biggest cheerleaders, help me through tough times and love me unconditionally no matter what the outcome may be. They’re the only reason I have “made it”.

Business wise, I value giving the “Disney World” experience to my clients. As much as possible, I tailor my services, whether that be in babysitting/tutoring, content creating and wedding services, to their needs.
