Today we’d like to introduce you to Breanna Dorsey
Hi Breanna, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
When I was a kid, there were to things I knew I loved: talking and music! When I got to college, I did some research and came across the Publicist career. I got several internships in College with SXSW & a marketing firm in NYC. I eventually took the risk and moved to NYC in the middle of the pandemic. It was the best thing I could’ve ever done! I started my career in entertainment at a small PR firm and worked my way up the organization. I also worked at a private PR Firm simultaneously working in lifestyle, tech and finance. I learned so much working both firms over the years that I decided to start my own, and that’s how the Twelve O Six Agency was born!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
There have been many struggles along the way, but with a great support system anything is possible. The pandemic was a huge challenge for sure, the world changed right before our eyes. I also faced personal challenges, when I first moved across the country I faced a lot of loneliness and depression. Through my supportive family and friends, I was able to find myself again and remember that everything was gonna work itself out for the good.

I started a PR boutique PR firm, Twelve O Six Agency. What sets me apart is that I build a personal, authentic relationship with all of my clients. I don’t believe PR is a “cookie cutter” service, I personalize each rollout and press plan depending on each clients brand and goals. I’m most proud of the fact that my clients are always so happy with the placements I secure for them, it’s no feeling like it!
What’s next?
I’m looking to expand Twelve O Six into some new clientele. I’d love to work with film makers, restaurants, art and so much more! There will be some exciting things coming in the future, stay tuned!
