Today we’d like to introduce you to Brian McCauley.
Hi Brian, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself
I was born and raised in Dallas, TX and attended Lake Highlands High School. I have 15 plus years of experience within the mortgage industry which is constantly evolving. In my most recent position, I was the top producing mortgage originator. I feel blessed to have won several awards and incentive trips for outstanding performance in sales and customer service.
As a former Texas Tech graduate, I’ve put a strong focus on building a large network of clients outside of the real estate industry such as CPAs, attorneys, financial advisors, and other financial services-related associates. I have a huge passion for sports and am an avid golfer. In my free time, I volunteer for various church functions and enjoy mentoring anyone that is interested in getting into the industry.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
I think challenges and obstacles build character. No victory has been celebrated without encountering adversity to some degree. In my case, the road has not always been a smooth one. In the beginning, trying to make a name for myself, I worked endless hours around the clock for years. I grinded through the mud when times were uncertain in the industry and that’s what motivated me to keep going. Honestly, watching others quit when it got tough fueled me to stay strong and created even more drive to become a leader within the mortgage industry.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
We are a mortgage company that helps people with one of the biggest purchases of their life, buying a home. We value each client deeply and our customer service I like to think sets us apart from others. We not only walk you through the home loan process, but we build relationships that can last a lifetime along the way. We are always here to help.
I’ve been in the mortgage industry for 15 years and grateful to have been featured in D Magazine TV, DallasMortgageNews.com, Candy’s Dirt, and Million Dollar Mixer events with BravoTV.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I don’t believe in luck as much as I do work ethic. I think if you have a strong work ethic along with self-discipline, opportunities will present themselves in time. I am a firm believer that when one door closes, another door will open as long as you keep working hard and focus on your long-term goals, not short-term.
