Today we’d like to introduce you to Case Willingham.
Hi Case, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I actually got started in irrigation through family. My cousin’s husband: Chris Dyess has been in the industry for a long time, and when he heard I was looking to get into a trade, he offered me a job. I didn’t know much about irrigation at the time, but once I started learning, I really enjoyed the mix of hands-on work and problem-solving that comes with it.
Working alongside him gave me a solid foundation and taught me what it takes to run a professional, service-based business. Over time, I realized I wanted to build something of my own — a company focused on quality repairs, honest communication, and helping people use water more efficiently. That’s how Willingham Irrigation came to life.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been the smoothest road, but it also hasn’t been the roughest. A couple of months in, right as things were getting busy, my vehicle broke down. I was able to borrow a vehicle from family for a while, but eventually I had to get a new one. It was a setback at the time, but it taught me to stay adaptable and keep moving forward.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Willingham Irrigation?

We’re known for being honest and detail-oriented. We take pride in recommending upgrades or improvements that genuinely benefit the customer — whether it’s saving water, improving coverage, or extending the life of their system.
Our goal is simple — to provide reliable, high-quality service and help homeowners maintain healthy lawns while conserving water.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
Chris Dyess has played a big role in where I am today. He’s the one who got me started in the trade and taught me the ins and outs of irrigation work. When I told him I wanted to earn my irrigator’s license and eventually start my own business, he was completely supportive — even while I was still working for him. That kind of mentorship and trust really helped shape the way I approach this industry.
Early on, there were a few bumps — like when my vehicle broke down and I had to rely on family to keep things moving — but guidance from people like Chris made a big difference in helping me stay on track and keep learning.
