Hi Chris, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My business partner, Aaron, and I, started our careers in medical device sales and were with Johnson & Johnson for 16 years. We got tired of working 80 hour weeks and being on trauma call nights and weekends. We wanted a better lifestyle for ourselves and our families. We left our corporate careers and got into land investing 3.5 years ago. We went through a coaching program to learn the business and then got up and running from there. A year and a half ago we started development on a software platform for other land investors, called AI Land Dealz. It is a unique software that shows the best counties and zip codes to market to and we launched that software in March 2025. We currently are founders and owners of both businesses and enjoy the freedom of time we have in working for ourselves and helping others find success in this business.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not entirely smooth. had to navigate how to close on properties with investor friendly title companies and realtors. With AI Land Dealz, developing software was a lot more entailed and took twice as long as we anticipated
