Today we’d like to introduce you to CMC COLLECTIVE.
Hi CMC, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started CMC from a genuine passion for car culture and a frustration with how fragmented the local scene felt. There were incredible builds, talented drivers, and dedicated teams across Cyprus, but no cohesive platform that truly represented the culture as a whole. What began as a small initiative to connect like-minded enthusiasts quickly evolved into something much bigger.
From day one, the goal wasn’t just to host events, it was to build a community with standards, identity, and long-term vision. We focused on quality over quantity, elevating presentation, encouraging responsible participation, and creating experiences that felt organized, intentional, and inclusive. As momentum grew, so did the trust from teams, riders, partners, and supporters.
Today, CMC Collective stands as a platform that bridges street culture and structured motorsport, bringing together cars, bikes, and the people behind them under one unified identity. It’s been a gradual build, powered by consistency, credibility, and a deep respect for the culture, and we’re still only at the beginning of what we’re aiming to create.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, and I don’t think anything meaningful ever is. One of the biggest challenges was changing perception. Car culture can sometimes be misunderstood, both publicly and internally within the scene itself. Building something structured, organised, and forward-thinking required consistency and patience.
Another struggle was earning trust. When you’re trying to elevate standards, whether that’s event quality, presentation, or safety, not everyone immediately understands the long-term vision. Growth takes time, and there were moments where progress felt slower than expected. But staying consistent and delivering results helped shift that.
There are also the usual challenges that come with building anything from the ground up: resources, logistics, coordination, and balancing passion with responsibility. But every obstacle reinforced why CMC exists in the first place, to create something stable, respected, and sustainable for the community. The challenges didn’t slow us down; they sharpened the vision.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
CMC Collective is a platform built around elevating automotive culture in Cyprus. We don’t just organise events, we create structured environments where enthusiasts, teams, riders, and builders can showcase their work properly and be recognised for their contribution to the scene.
We specialise in curated automotive experiences that blend street culture with organisation and professionalism. From large-scale showcases to track-focused initiatives like Moto Pista and Achna Speedway, our goal is always the same: raise the standard. Presentation, atmosphere, branding, and community integration are all treated with intention. We focus heavily on identity, making sure every activation feels cohesive, purposeful, and community-driven rather than just another gathering.
What sets CMC apart is that we operate with long-term vision. We’re not chasing trends or one-off hype. We invest in relationships with teams, we give platforms to contributors within the culture, and we build events that prioritise both experience and responsibility. The brand is rooted in respect for the culture, but also in progression, pushing it forward in a way that earns wider recognition and credibility.
Brand-wise, what I’m most proud of is the trust and recognition we’ve built. CMC has grown into a name that represents quality and structure within the local scene. People know that when they attend a CMC event, they’re stepping into something organised, intentional, elevated and different. That consistency is something we’ve worked hard to establish.
What I want readers to understand is that CMC is more than events, it’s infrastructure for the culture. It’s a platform for teams, riders, creatives, and partners who want to see Cyprus’ automotive and motorsport scene evolve. And we’re only getting started.
So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
What matters most to me is building something that lasts. Trends come and go, hype fades, but culture — when nurtured properly, has longevity. My focus has always been on creating structure, credibility, and opportunity within the scene so it can grow sustainably rather than burn out.
Community is a close second. None of this exists without the people, the builders, riders, teams, photographers, partners, and supporters who contribute their time and passion. Creating a platform where they feel recognised and represented properly is important to me because that’s what strengthens the foundation of the culture.
And ultimately, integrity matters. Staying consistent with the vision, maintaining standards, and making decisions that serve long-term progress over short-term popularity. That’s what protects the brand and the community around it.
If what we’re building today still holds value five or ten years from now, then we’ve done it right.
