Hi Courtney, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Our bookkeeping and tax business started 3 years ago when my sister and I were tired of the corporate accounting grind. Working for major corporations left us feeling disconnected from what brings us joy, helping business owners. We started our business providing contract work for larger firms and eventually started sourcing our own clientele. We originally provided tax and bookkeeping services to businesses in a variety of industries such as beauty, law, healthcare and transportation. However, we decided that we have a passion for helping construction and trade contractors as their needs are very specific. Currently, we provide full service tax and bookkeeping services to this specialized industry.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Starting our business has been a bumpy road with hills and valleys. However, every valley is an opportunity to learn. Our struggles along the way included taking on clients that were not a good fit for our company, not being specific with our business needs and incorporating social media.

We define success as seeing our business owners achieve their goals by utilizing our financial reports and strategic guidance.
