Community Highlights: Meet Crystal Garcia of Audacious Beauty

Today we’d like to introduce you to Crystal Garcia

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My journey has been anything but easy, but every challenge I’ve faced has shaped me into the woman I am today. I’m an entrepreneur, a tax professional, and now an H2S technician in the oil & gas industry . My path into business wasn’t just about making money it was about survival, breaking cycles, and creating something bigger than myself.

I started Audacious Beauty in April 2021, before body sculpting became popular in Dallas, Texas. In the beginning, no one really knew what it was, and building my brand was tough. But I never gave up. The name Audacious Beauty holds deep meaning for me it represents courage, boldness, and self-love. I know what it’s like to feel broken, to lose yourself, and to have to rebuild from nothing. I want every woman who crosses my path to feel empowered, to see their own beauty, and to know they are worthy of love starting with themselves. I’m currently in the process of rebranding and expanding, and this is only the beginning.

I got into tax preparation because of personal experience. I was a victim of tax fraud, and it caused me a lot of hardship. I wanted to protect others from going through the same thing, especially those who don’t fully understand their rights when filing. Since completing my training in November 2022, I’ve never looked back. Helping people secure their financial future is something I take seriously, and I’m committed to educating my clients so they’re never taken advantage of.

Now, I’m working in the oil fields because, as they say, “this is where the money is.” It’s a sacrifice being away from my children, but every long shift, every tough moment is a step toward the future I’m building for them. I don’t just want to survive I want to create generational wealth and give my kids the stability I never had.

My drive comes from my past. I was a teen mom at 15, a domestic violence survivor, and a foster care child who grew up without parents. After losing my grandmother to ovarian cancer in 2007 I was placed in the system, hoping for love but instead experiencing more abuse even from my own family. I’ve been through hell, but I refuse to let my past define me. Instead, I use it as fuel.

I want my daughters to know they never have to accept abuse, that love should never come with pain, and that they can be anything they set their minds to. I am breaking generational curses and proving that where you come from does not determine where you’re going.

My story isn’t just mine it’s for every young mom, every survivor, every woman who has ever felt like she wasn’t enough. I want to be the role model I never had, to show others that no matter how dark things get, there is always light at the end of the tunnel. I didn’t go through everything I did for nothing I was meant to make an impact, and I will.

Signature Quote for Audacious Beauty:

“Audacious Beauty is more than a brand it’s a movement. A reminder that no matter what you’ve been through, you have the power to rebuild, to love yourself again, and to step into the bold, fearless woman you were always meant to be.”

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
My journey has been far from smooth. I grew up in the foster care system after losing my grandmother to ovarian cancer in 2007, I had to learn how to survive on my own. I became a teen mom at 15, which meant growing up fast and taking on responsibilities most teenagers couldn’t even imagine.

As I got older, I found myself trapped in a cycle of domestic violence, struggling to break free while also trying to provide a better life for my children. I’ve been in and out of domestic violence shelters, starting over more times than I can count. The legal system in Dallas County failed me in many ways, but I refused to let that define me.

Starting my business was another challenge. When I launched Audacious Beauty in 2021, body sculpting wasn’t well known in Dallas, so I had to work extra hard to build awareness and gain clients. At the same time, I pursued a career in tax preparation after experiencing tax fraud firsthand, determined to help others avoid the same struggles.

Now, I’m working in the oil fields, making sacrifices to create generational wealth and provide stability for my children. The journey hasn’t been easy, but every setback has fueled my drive. I refuse to let my past dictate my future. Instead, I use my experiences to empower other women showing them that no matter how many times life knocks you down, you can always rise again.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Audacious Beauty?
I wear many hats, but at the core of everything I do, I’m passionate about helping others whether it’s through tax preparation, business ownership, or empowering women.

I specialize in tax preparation and financial literacy, helping individuals and businesses navigate their taxes with confidence. I became a tax expert after experiencing fraud firsthand, which fueled my mission to educate and protect others from similar situations. What sets me apart is my personal approach I don’t just prepare taxes; I make sure my clients understand their finances and feel empowered to build wealth.

Beyond taxes, I’m also the owner of Audacious Beauty, a brand dedicated to helping women feel beautiful and confident inside and out. From body sculpting to skincare, my goal is to uplift women and remind them of their strength, no matter what they’ve been through.

What I’m most proud of is how I’ve turned my struggles into motivation. I’ve survived foster care, domestic violence, and homelessness, yet I continue to build, grow, and inspire others. My resilience and determination set me apart I’m not just working for myself, I’m working to break generational curses and create opportunities for those who come after me.

What matters most to you? Why?
What matters most to me is breaking cycles, creating opportunities, and leaving a legacy of strength and resilience.

I come from a background of struggle foster care, domestic violence, homelessness child abuse but I refuse to let my past define me. What drives me every day is the desire to build a future where my children and others like me don’t have to fight the same battles I did. I want to show women, single mothers, and survivors that they are more than their circumstances, that they can rise, rebuild, and thrive.

It’s not just about success for me; it’s about impact. Whether through helping people gain financial freedom with tax preparation, empowering women through beauty and self-care, or simply sharing my story to inspire others, I want everything I do to serve a greater purpose.

At the end of the day, what matters most is turning pain into power, struggles into stepping stones, and dreams into reality—not just for myself, but for those who come after me.
