Today we’d like to introduce you to Daryl Kosoris.
Daryl, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I was a sophomore in college when I had to drop out to start working for my now almost 10-year-old. I started working in Insurance, then banking, then moved into the logistics space. Now, I have been in the logistics industry for over 10 years. Before I started my own logistics company, I was helping other companies grow through training, mentoring, and sales. In March of 2020 – I decided to go out on my own and start KTX Warehousing & Logistics. We originally started as a box truck company, running shipments around Texas, but that quickly failed due to COVID-19 and its impact on the customers I had at the time. I quickly pivoted into starting a logistics brokerage instead, so now I was able to bring my customers into my Company and immediately was able to provide the much-needed revenue stream to grow. This ambition to pivot was inspired by my wife, Ashley, and the drive to succeed for my two boys. While maintaining the brokerage, I opened up a Warehouse in August of 2022 in Waxahachie, Texas. We currently have a facility that is 55,000 sqft and we handle storage, distribution, and e commerce. It has been less than 6 months, and we are already looking for a second facility due to the influx of business we have received over the past couple of months. We are about to open a 110,000 sqft location in south Dallas. I need to credit this growth for everyone in the KTX warehouse, family, and the relationships that I have made over the past several months.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Over the past 10 years, life has not always been smooth. I believe that if your life is smooth – you are doing something wrong. Life is meant to be challenging and to have bumps along the way that will eventually shape you into the person you are meant to become.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
I would definitely recommend to connect with anyone and everyone. I firmly believe that everyone has their own story and how they do things. If you can connect to 4-5 different people with various different experiences – I believe that you would be able to formulate your own and be successful. I connect with everyone and always find out what they are doing in life because you never know who you are going to meet or how they can potentially help you achieve your goals.
