Today we’d like to introduce you to Deavian Hulitt.

Deavian Hulitt

Hi Deavian, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Budget Bride Events began after planning & coordinating my own wedding, which I planned in five months for a little over 100 guests. Shortly after, I shared a TikTok video breaking down exactly how I pulled it off, all while being under a budget of $10,000. I didn’t expect much, but the response was incredible. People resonated with the idea that a beautiful wedding didn’t have to come with a heavy price tag. Even then, I wasn’t sure I saw myself as a business owner, but the seed was planted.

My turning point came when my husband’s best friend asked for help with his wedding. Week by week, I walked them through decisions, details, and timelines, eventually coordinating the entire day. That experience reminded me how overwhelmed I felt on my own wedding day—trying to handle everything instead of soaking in the moment and enjoying the experience. I knew from that moment I wanted to offer brides something different: the chance to actually enjoy their big day while someone they trusted handled the rest.

Since officially starting in January 2024, I’ve coordinated nearly ten weddings, with more on the calendar for next year. Every event has been a blessing. It has been the utmost honor to serve clients on one of the most meaningful days of their lives, and I carry that responsibility with deep gratitude and joy.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I think most business owners would agree—rarely is anything completely smooth. My journey has definitely had its challenges. I’ve had to learn every aspect of running a business on my own: constructing a website, online marketing, pricing, creating packages, establishing boundaries, and building a reliable team. One of my biggest personal hurdles has been delegation. I’m naturally the type of person who tries to take everything on myself, so learning to trust others with certain responsibilities wasn’t easy. But with each event, I’ve grown. My family—especially my husband—has stepped in as my support team, and as I’ve given him new tasks and responsibilities, it has allowed me to stay more present and focused on the areas that need my attention most. The road hasn’t been perfect, but every challenge has helped me refine my process and grow into a better business owner.

As you know, we’re big fans of Budget Bride Events. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Budget Bride Events is an event coordination business dedicated to serving and supporting all types of events throughout the DFW area and beyond, with a primary focus on weddings. I currently offer three package options: Partial Planning + Day-of Coordination, Full Day-of Coordination, and Partial Day-of Coordination, so clients can choose the level of support that best fits their needs. I also provide a few à la carte services, including set-up and break-down and an event dining attendant. Whether I’m walking alongside clients for months or stepping in only on the big day, my role is to bring structure, hands-on guidance, and peace of mind.

What truly sets Budget Bride Events apart is the heart behind the service. My clients are never just an invoice. I approach every wedding with empathy, intentionality, and a deep commitment to fulfilling each detail outlined in our agreement. I work hard for my clients while keeping my services budget-friendly, ensuring they never have to choose between staying within their means and having a well-managed, stress-free celebration.

Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the experience I’m able to give my clients. Knowing they can be fully present on their wedding day—without stress, without worry, and without being pulled in a hundred different directions is incredibly meaningful to me. Hearing clients say they looked back on their day with joy instead of regret is truly the heart of why I do this work. At the heart of it all, I want readers to know that I am deeply committed to this work. I stand behind my word, my values, and the quality of service I provide. From the moment you book with me, you have someone who is dedicated to your day as if it were her own.
