Hi Destiny, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’m Destiny a Full Body Wax Specialist and Nail Technician from Fort Worth, TX. I attended Ogle. Beauty school after realizing that college just wasn’t for me. I have always been fascinated with the beauty industry my mother and I had a standing appointments at a beauty salon most of my childhood; those women were amazing! They opened my eyes to what the beauty industry really was! Even at a young age,I was sold! Once graduating from Ogle, I set out in the industry, but not in they way I thought I would.I began working as a speed waxer for a well-known franchise. I loved being able to do something for clients that they weren’t able to do for themselves while also educating them on their skin needs and concerns. As I was perfecting my techniques with brazillian waxing another facet of the beauty industry caught my creativity. Nails, nails, nails! So many different types of designs and ways to create such beauty on an ever-changing canvas. I purchased myself a nail kit, and haven’t looked back! After two years taking classes and self-taught lessons, I knew what my next path in this industry had to be so in 2021 I leased my very first suite to have a creative safe space for my clientele, and myself to grow even more!
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Oh, absolutely not! I never expected it to be easy, owning my own business, but this was uncharted waters I had never even dreamed of. I have to say learning ways to market beauty services was a bit of a struggle for me in the beginning. I offer a few very personal services so you can just trust anyone to provide that service for you.If anything this has been a learning experience and I’m still learning more everyday!

I am a licensed cosmetologist, and I specialize in Brazilian waxing and nail artistry. I am known for making my clients feel comfortable and confident in their own skin.
I am most proud when I make my clients happy, aiding them on their self-care journeys, when they leave Emerald Allure the walk out with a spring in their step ready for the world!
Emerald Allure is an all-inclusive space women men, and non-binary alike can come and feel welcomed! Whether it be a Brazilian wax, a blinged-out acrylic set, or a fresh pedicure set! Everyone will always get a positive personalized experience when booking with me!
