I’m Elan Sueret, a tenured serial entrepreneur with real life skin in the game. I’ve worn many hats, real estate investor, auto broker, licensed barber, all industries where hustle isn’t optional, it’s a requirement. In my early 20s, I built a solid real estate portfolio, only to lose it all when the 2008 financial crisis hit. That moment crushed my dreams, but it also handed me my greatest lessons:

I went from losing everything to mastering the intricacies of credit, rebuilding my wealth, and positioning myself for the long game. My comeback wasn’t just about restoring my real estate portfolio, it was about building credit and structure the right way.2020 was my “aha” moment. I saw too many people trapped by poor credit and improper business structure, missing out on funding, opportunities, and wealth building. That’s when I pivoted into what I do now: brokering capital for business owners, setting up entities, and teaching the information most folks are never taught.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
If anyone tells you building a business is smooth, they’re not really building a business. My journey has been anything but linear. Every step has come with its own set of challenges and lessons, and I had to figure out how to not only win for myself, but also how to help my clients win, too.
Scaling a business is next level. It’s not just about having the right systems or strategies, it’s about people. When you’re dealing with people and their money, trust is everything. The “know, like, and trust” factor is real. You can be the best at what you do, but if the internet can’t verify it, you’ll struggle until you build up that reputation and credibility.
Learning how to leverage social media, run ads, and build my brand from the ground up was a game changer. But honestly, it’s the journey I share with my clients that keeps me going. We’ve learned, grown, and scaled together and every lesson along the way has made me even more passionate about helping others succeed.
At the end of the day, I’m just grateful to be a vessel, sharing what I’ve learned so others can win, too.
