Hi Erika, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers? 
I come from a small town called Clovis, California, and have always dreamed of becoming successful and owning my own business. Having big aspirations, I relocated to Fort Worth, Texas! I have always loved hosting parties for friends and family, creating a space where everyone can gather and have a good time. Having years of experience specializing in organization and planning, I combined my interests and pursued this passion, and In Bloom Events & Decor was created. I’m a firm believer that if you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life. I am now living that dream! I hope I can create and enhance those special memories for you at your next event. 

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
When I first launched In Bloom Events & Decor, I thought it would be an easy journey, but it’s not as easy as it looks. Most people may not realize how difficult it is to create, manage, and maintain a successful business. I learned that it takes a lot of hard work and determination to get where you want to be. I give so much credit to all business owners out there. It hasn’t been the easiest of paths, but I wouldn’t be where I am today if I didn’t go through some hurdles. 

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We are an elegant, high-end rental company that provides stunning backdrops and pop-up bars for any occasion. Our sole purpose is to ensure that we supply premium products tailored to your needs at an affordable price! Ranging from excellent customer service to no hidden fees, we recognize your satisfaction is our top priority. We promise to treat our clients with the utmost professionalism and guidance they deserve. We strive to provide the ultimate experience to enhance your special day. 

Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
There are two big risks I have taken in my life, and both have paid off. The first leap of faith I took was picking up everything I had and moving to a new state I had never visited: Texas! At this point in my life, I was younger and thought what the heck if this doesn’t work out, I can always move back home. Moving to Texas was one of the biggest and best decisions I have ever made. I never would have started In Bloom Events & Decor if I didn’t take that risk. This leads me to my second decision, starting a business. It’s a little scary entering a new industry that you haven’t been involved with before. But I was determined to be successful and make it happen. Sometimes, you just have to jump right in and follow your gut instinct. If I didn’t take those risks, I wouldn’t be where I am today.
