I am Gene Stokes, the founder of AutoCare Anywhere, and I’m passionate about delivering high quality detailing that restores, protects, and enhances every vehicle. With a commitment to excellence, convenience, and customer service, I created AutoCare Anywhere to provide top tier detailing services from basic hand wash to deep interior cleaning, ceramic coatings and paint correction ensuring every vehicle shines like new.
Beyond detailing, I bring over three decades of experience in financial management, healthcare administration, and retail operations. Throughout my career, I’ve successfully driven revenue growth, optimized operations, and led business expansions across multiple industries. With an MS in Innovation & Entrepreneurship, an MBA in Finance, and a BS in Business Administration & MIS from the University of Texas at Dallas, I combine strategic leadership with hands-on expertise.
Outside of business, I’m a fun-loving, family oriented individual who enjoys spending time with my wife, children, and grandchildren. My dedication to excellence, customer satisfaction, and passion for cars make AutoCare Anywhere the go to destination for professional auto detailing.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It was really exciting when we first opened the virtual doors of AutoCare Anywhere. Like any new venture, there was a lot of energy and optimism at the start. But it hasn’t been a smooth road. I was running on a shoestring budget, which meant I had to be extremely resourceful and learn how to make the most out of every dollar.
One of the biggest challenges was truly understanding the market. We had to figure out what we were as a business. At first, we thought we were just going to wash cars, but we quickly realized the market was asking for much more, they were looking for detailers. That insight pushed us to expand and refine our services into full auto detailing, from interior deep cleans to paint correction and ceramic coatings.
Over time, I also recognized that my original business model wasn’t sustainable. I had to completely restructure how I operate, moving to a commission-based pay model. That shift created accountability, rewarded performance, and allowed me to build a stronger team culture focused on customer satisfaction.
Looking back, those struggles taught me resilience and adaptability. They forced me to listen, adjust, and grow into a company that’s more than just a car wash AutoCare Anywhere is a mobile detailing service built around convenience, quality, and what customers actually want. And we are not done yet…we have only just begun.

AutoCare Anywhere is a mobile detailing company based in Plano, Texas, created to bring professional grade detailing right to our customers’ driveways. We specialize in full-service auto detailing, from interior deep cleaning and paint correction to advanced treatments like ceramic coatings. What we’re known for is convenience paired with uncompromising quality we bring the shop to you, without cutting corners.
What really sets us apart is our attention to detail and customer experience. We don’t just wash cars we restore and protect them. From the wheel wells to the console cup holders, our focus is on the little things that most people overlook, but that make a huge difference in how a vehicle looks and feels.
Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the trust we’ve built and are continue to build. We’ve grown to becoming a reliable, detailer for families, busy professionals, and car enthusiasts across Plano and the surrounding areas. Our team is paid on commission, which means every technician is personally invested in delivering exceptional results and our success is tied directly to the satisfaction of our customers.

What’s next?
Looking ahead, the future for AutoCare Anywhere is about growth, consistency, and raising the standard for mobile detailing. While we’re proud to have built a strong base here in Texas, our vision is much bigger. The auto detailing industry is a $12B market in the U.S., yet it’s highly fragmented with no clear national leader. We see that as a tremendous opportunity.
Our plan is to scale beyond Texas and eventually create a multi-market expansion model that makes AutoCare Anywhere a recognizable, trusted brand nationwide. We’re currently raising funds to make this next stage a reality. The goal is to launch our first shop, which will act as a hub for both high-margin services like ceramic coatings and paint protection film, as well as continued mobile operations. That way, customers will have options whether they want to drop off their vehicle, request pickup and delivery, or book the convenience of mobile service.
What excites me most is the idea of unifying the detailing market. By providing independent detailers with a commission-based structure that rewards performance and giving customers a consistent, high-quality experience across every location, we believe AutoCare Anywhere can become the category leader in an industry that’s ready for innovation.
