Community Highlights: Meet Gustavo Mbo Esono Obono of Real estate

Today we’d like to introduce you to Gustavo Mbo Esono Obono

Hi Gustavo Mbo , it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I arrived in this country when I turned 20 years old and it was not easy for me to arrive as an international student. It was not easy because first you find cultural barriers that we realize that I have to adapt to survive in this country. I come from a country in the heart of Africa called Equatorial Guinea where the culture is different and I learned to adapt after a few months the COVID pandemic begins and I am forced to change my way of life and thinking. Months later, a great pillar of my life, my father, dies and after three months my older sister, who were very influential people in my life, I cried and became traumatized for months and I realize that crying and depressed does not pay my expenses, so I use a plan B which is to learn the real estate market where, thank God, it was a great blessing for me. This job and my success I owe it to my effort and to my parents, thank you.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Turbulent Market Conditions.
Tough Competition.
Sentiment Towards Real Estate Agents.
Changing Buyer (and Seller) Demands.

We’ve been impressed with Real estate , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My job as a Realtor, I always say that it was a blessing for me to have known this job and as a blessing I try to always help my clients achieve their goals when buying or selling their home because I feel that it is a very important decision to be able to be part of the purchase or sale of a home and my passion is to be able to provide them with the best deal forever.
