Today we’d like to introduce you to Jaidyn Yoder
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My idea came from many things: a year of experience in the jewelry retail industry, a love for connecting with people, and a passion for serving clients through the event industry. When I found out that owning a permanent jewelry company could give me access to all of those things, I was anxious to get started. I am now in the process of building clients and figuring out the ins and outs of business ownership and am so excited for what the future holds.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The start of it all fell into place very quickly and easily, which is something I am grateful for. Balancing a full-time college workload, a sorority, a separate part-time job, and the business has been the biggest struggle and is still something I’m trying to navigate. Also having a co-owner and having to navigate our individual responsibilities has been an adjustment. That being said, these are struggles I’m blessed to have. I’m blessed to have the commitments I have and the business partner I have.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about TrueVine Jewelry Co.?
My business is called TrueVine Jewelry Co. It is a small permanent jewelry business that specializes in sustainable, waterproof jewelry with a variety of styles that any customer could enjoy. What sets TrueVine apart is that the business is focused on personal connections rather than transactional relationships. What I’m most proud of brand wise is the vision and the drive behind starting it. As an aspiring entrepreneur, I have a deep desire to make connections and to succeed. I’m proud of building a platform that gives me the opportunity to do so and to serve others. TrueVine is permanent jewelry wherever you want it and whoever you want it for. Our jewelry is all waterproof, copper free and nickel free. We offer sterling silver, stainless steel, 14k gold filled, and 18k gold filled chains. All of ours chains are set at the same price so that customers don’t question the integrity of our pricing. We would love to serve you!
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
I have had the opportunity to learn a lot about professional business communication and budgeting. I have navigated how to reach out to clients in an effective way that communicates to them everything they need to know and that builds their trust with me, and that is something I think is very valuable.
