Today we’d like to introduce you to Jasmine Rivera.
Hi Jasmine, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I moved to Texas June 2022 welcoming a new beginning for my daughters and myself. I started in this industry (licensed esthetician/ Permanent Makeup Artist) in Illinois 2018. While starting over and being in Texas I decided to get out of my comfort zone and humor myself by looking at suites. I say humor because I didn’t think I would do it since I had 0 clientele out here in Texas. I fell in love with my suite and location at Watters Creek Allen, my mother went with and nudge me to just do it. I opened my suite end of September and all I can say it’s not easy but nothing worth it in life is ever easy.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
It’s been a balance. I had a lot of help putting my suite together from painting to decorating the entire thing. My sisters, each of them has been so helpful and motivating in different ways. My daughters and God my biggest motivation. Starting in a completely new state not knowing anyone and starting a business is not easy at all. My determination, hard work, and talent helps me
