Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Williby.
Hi Jennifer, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
I have always had a love for three things, BEACH, BEAUTY, and BODY! I love beauty and appearance from fashion to cosmetic. I always had a thing for Victoria Secret runway fashion shows and it all came about because I have a love for the beach and the Caribbean. I know you are like “where is she going with this”, but it started with my love for those things. I loved the beach, beauty, and swimwear. I started off having a swimwear line called Hue Bleu Swim (which I may bring back in the future because it was amazing) and always wanted to make sure my models looked great from head to toe in their swimwear. I always felt that a great body and a fresh face was the key to catching the attention along with the swimwear on the runway. Well as we all know swimwear has its ups and downs during the seasons and when Covid hit the country, I wanted to pivot and start to do other things that I had a drive for, which was the beauty industry (cosmetic and natural enhancements). During Covid, I buckled down and got into Esthetician School because I wanted to make women and men feel and look beautiful, whether it was naturally or cosmetically reached. I wanted to learn about the skin, body fat, the aging process, and how to slow it down to preserve the beauty. I always felt that everyone loves the summertime and vacations and what better secret weapon than body and skin vitality. Slowing down the aging process we all want! We want to preserve that youthful glow and I have learned the skills on just how to do it all without going under the needle or the knife.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The path to doing one of things I love to do has had its cracks and dips along the way, but that’s everything in life, right? Nothing is on cruise control. Certain things can arise like slow months. We know in the state of Texas one day it’s hot, the next it’s snowing, raining, and so on, and believe it or not that affects business. Not only that when I first started out, I lacked marketing skills and clientele which caused slow months for my business. I learned that if you don’t show up you won’t be seen so I started going to vendor shows, pop-up shops, and presentations. Clientele started to pick up once I showed up and from there it’s been pretty steady
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am known as the Shape Shifter Esthetician of DFW, Texas, and Chandler Arizona. I earned the name because I can shape up the body to an hourglass figure and buttocks without having to have liposuction. I specialize in Skin Tightening, Body Contouring, Vagacials, Butt Lifts, Facials, and the list goes on. I never wanted to limit myself and specialize in one thing. I took the time and became skilled in many areas because we as women sometimes have many things that need treated and we don’t want to be running all around town to have a facial here and then have to drive 30 minutes to have wax over there., so my office caters to many needs for all genders. It sets me apart from others, but you will just have to book an appointment to see why we are one of the bests Spas in the area. I am proud to say that we don’t do the same treatment for everyone we customize it to your concerns or troubled areas. We want to make sure that our clients are happy, feel comfortable, and most importantly return for their next appointment.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
The role that has luck for me is accountability. I keep it processional whether in the office or out. I make it comfortable for my clients to be able to contact me even after hours. The same way that family and friends are able to reach me when needed, I make it available for clients to contact me as well for any concerns or after-care reminders.
