Hi Jeremy, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Treehouse Cupcakes and Frozen Treats came from our heart — our kids. When our kids wanted to spruce up our old treehouse, they decided to sell cupcakes to earn the money. Mom (our creative and generous Stephanie) helped… and discovered a passion.
Before long, a backyard fundraiser turned into a bustling cottage bakery. With too many birthday parties and weddings for our home kitchen to handle, we opened our first storefront in 2018 and a second in 2021. Now we get to welcome East Texas families into a shop with delicious cupcakes, refreshing frozen yogurt, rich coffee, savory food, and more.
We love bringing ideas to life, giving back to our community, doing quality work, and treating people to an experience.
Our business was built on family, and we want your family to feel at home here. We want to help you celebrate your milestone events and sweet little moments. We’ve been through enough to know that each moment is worth cherishing, and there’s no substitute for having someone be there for you.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Post covid really changed people’s habits. Not as many families seem to come see us in the evening and weekends.
We have added other lines of business to grow sales like coffee, grab and go lunches, and catering.

We’re your hometown bakery, but not just your hometown bakery. While we thrive on cupcakes and grace, we’ve found some nice pairings with delicious desserts. So, we brew rich coffee. We stock fresh grab-and-go lunches. We have a wall – yes, a wall – of frozen yogurt flavors with an array of toppings. We cater memorable events. Basically, we’ve got you.
