Hi Kennedye, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
My story is probably a little different from everyone else’s. I started during the pandemic learning new things, trying to find something that I liked to do. I started painting, exercising, or whatever I felt like I can do at the time. Being a Lash Tech just stuck with me. I caught on so well. I loved it as soon as I started. I loved it so much it started being very therapeutic for me.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Nothing you do as an entrepreneur is easy or will come easy. Building clientele, marketing, and having great customer service. When I started lashing, I was working 2 jobs trying figuring myself out, which isn’t easy at all. I invested everything I had into my business. With the guidance from my mother, I overcame a lot.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Experience The Experience?
I am a Lash Technician. My brand is one of a kind. When people come to me, I turn into an artist of the eye. I create confidence. I want everyone to look their best at an affordable price. Sometimes, I become a therapist. Best friend and a safe space. What set me apart from others is that I create a lash look based on the person and their facial features and not what’s trending. Branding-wise, I’m proud of myself for giving people the experience of being comfortable and trusting me to the point they can fall asleep knowing they are in good hands
What do you think about happiness?
Seeing everyone happy and confident around me, knowing I actually made them feel that way. Even when I’m not feeling it that day, seeing people happy and smiling make me feel better.
