Today we’d like to introduce you to Kim Lay.
Kim, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
After working in Corporate America for 20+ years, I made the decision to take a new path in my life journey. I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do exactly but knew I wanted to align my career choices to promote wellness and helping to empower those looking to live a healthier lifestyle. I learned about Delta Life Fitness and its concept through a franchise broker and a series of happenstance unfolded that solidified my decision to open the first one in the Dallas area. I was very impressed with their mission to create positive communities of women and providing a place for women to train right!
We opened Delta Life Fitness – Frisco location in August of 2020 with just 3 classes per day. We continue to grow and focus on providing our members with the cleanest gym and best 30-minute workouts! Hearing success stories of our members daily has reaffirmed my decision to take this path in my journey and I have to say that we have the best ladies in town! 🙂
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The biggest struggle has been Covid-19 and its impact on our staff, members, and our community.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Delta Life Fitness expertly programs our workouts into what we call Tone & Torch. These classes are instructor-led, 30 minutes long, and designed to Tone muscle and Torch body fat. Our classes are heart rate monitored and they have been proven to get the same caloric burn in 30 minutes as most 1-hour class formats. We are built for women and to make it even more awesome, we have a supervised kid’s room right onsite!

Success is a habit. Setting the right habits to get to the goals you set for yourself.
