Today we’d like to introduce you to Kole Enright.
Hi Kole, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
When I was 18 years old I was drafted to play professional baseball by the Texas Rangers. Years later I now find myself driving through the streets of Dallas impacting this city in a different way…
My baseball career didn’t turn out to be what many thought it might. I underperformed what I was supposed to be as a player. However, the struggle and adversity that the game put me through prepared me for the next chapter of my life, Entrepreneurship.
In January of 2022, I started “The Enright Group.” A Talent Management and Entertainment Marketing Company helping develop Brand position for both brands and celebrities/athletes.
What made you realize there was opportunity with The Enright Group?.
I started TEG initially by managing Athletes MJ Melendez, Tyson Gay, and Fitness creators Jason Poston and Paige Hathaway. At the time, I performed services such as partnership management, business management, and brand development.
In the 12 months since, TEG has been able to work on projects with amazing brands like Stanley 1913, Invited Clubs, Eight Sleep, ButcherBox, and Homme Femme.
As a small intimate team, our ability to get projects done quickly and effectively without having to deal with corporate layers is why I believe we have a chance to make an impact in this industry. It’s the one thing I never want to lose.
As the Visionary, once I can no longer have my hand in each project because of overstretching on tasks, that’s when we become just like everybody else. I want to be involved in each of our talent’s (and brands) daily decisions.
What did Baseball teach you?
I think baseball best prepared me to handle failure and losses… Not every partnership or client ends up a success and those hard times can be discouraging as a young business owner. The ability to show up the next day and keep pressing forward is something that I’ve found to be important day in and day out.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
The greatest challenge as a small team is the ability to deal with a quicky changing digital landscape around the world.
Things look so different month to month as culture shifts to more and more social-based platforms and then from long-form content to short-form content.
As you know, we’re big fans of The Enright Group. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
We specialize in managing and developing the careers of athletes, creators, and public figures through laying great PR and partnership baselines for each independent talent.
What makes us so different is our passion for staying as small as possible… In a world where businesses all want to quickly scale, we find that our greatest asset is for me, as the owner and visionary, to be involved in the lives of each client we enter into management for. The ability to bypass the corporate layers and to be able to call me directly at any time of the day is our greatest asset as a new agency.
I’m proud that we CARE. I’m proud that we prioritize our talent and brands over money. I’m proud that we ethically seek relationship with each person that we interact with from a business standpoint.
Our talent plays a part in several Dallas Non-Profit initiatives with organizations such as ‘MVP: Merging Vets & Players’ and ‘Leukemia Texas.’
We are driven to become a leading force here in Dallas when it comes to representation and Event Marketing in the coming years.
