Today we’d like to introduce you to Kristie Christensen.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I didn’t start out thinking I’d be building a platform for women in business—I started in rooms where experience, presentation, and perception mattered.
My background is rooted in luxury hospitality, events, and branding, where I spent years learning how environments, details, and storytelling shape how people feel about a brand. I’ve worked across luxury spaces, owned a boutique, planned and produced events, and built a marketing agency—always circling the same core idea: how do you create something people don’t just see, but remember? And even more than that…what makes them feel something.
Over time, I realized most businesses weren’t struggling because they lacked effort—they were struggling because they weren’t positioned to be known. They were showing up, but not standing out in a way that built real authority.
That realization led me to begin refining what I now call my approach to branding and presence—one that blends strategy, storytelling, and real-world application rather than just trends or tactics. After nearly two decades in business, I’ve shifted my focus toward packaging that experience into something more scalable: speaking, writing, and developing frameworks that help others build meaningful visibility.
What started as a career in brandbuilding with my agency, Kristie Christensen Group – evolved into the creation of THE CEO SOCIETY—a platform designed to give women not just a place to connect, but a place to become known. Through marketing, media, events, and shared experiences, we’re building something that supports women in stepping into their authority in a way that feels both strategic and authentic.
Looking back, every chapter—from hospitality to retail to marketing—was building toward this. What I’m doing now feels less like a pivot and more like a culmination: taking everything I’ve learned about brand, presence, and experience, and using it to help others create something lasting.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a straight line—and I think that’s been the point.
I’ve built and worked within several businesses over the years, and on paper it might look like a series of pivots. In reality, it’s been a curated menagerie of experience—each chapter bringing something different to the table that shaped what I’m doing now.
There were seasons of figuring things out in real time, moments where I had to adjust quickly, and times when something that looked right on the outside just wasn’t aligned anymore. That part isn’t always easy, especially when you’ve invested time, energy, and identity into what you’re building.
But looking back, every step kept circling the same themes: telling stories, creating experiences, and building brands that people actually connect with. Even the challenges clarified that.
What I’m doing now feels like the most aligned version of all of it. Not because it’s been smooth, but because each piece—every win, every shift—helped refine the perspective I bring to the table today.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about The CEO Society & Kristie Christensen Group?
My work today lives in two connected spaces: my personal authority platform and THE CEO SOCIETY.
Through KristieChristensen.com, I focus on brand strategy, thought leadership, and speaking—helping businesses and entrepreneurs define what they want to be known for and build a presence that supports that. After nearly two decades across luxury hospitality, retail, events, and marketing, my work has evolved into a more focused approach centered on authority, positioning, and visibility. It’s less about “marketing for hire” and more about guiding brands to become recognizable and relevant in a meaningful way.
THE CEO SOCIETY is the platform where that philosophy comes to life at scale. It’s a media and visibility platform for women in business, designed to help them become known—not just seen. Through our magazine, member directory, curated events, and growing chapter network, we’re creating both a digital and in-person ecosystem where women can connect, learn, and actively build their presence.
What connects both sides of the work is a shared focus on authority. Not trends, not surface-level engagement—but helping people articulate their value, show up with intention, and create something that resonates and lasts.
What I’m most proud of is that both brands feel aligned in purpose while serving different roles. One is the source of the strategy and perspective, and the other is the platform where that thinking is experienced, applied, and expanded through community.
More than anything, I want people to understand that this isn’t just about visibility for the sake of exposure—it’s about building a presence that has depth, credibility, and impact.
What are your plans for the future?
Looking ahead, I’m focused on scaling both the platform and the message in a way that feels intentional and sustainable.
With THE CEO SOCIETY, we’re building toward a broader presence through local chapter expansion, more frequent summits, and a stronger media arm—growing our magazine, podcast, and digital content into a true resource for women in business. The goal is to create an ecosystem that exists both online and in real life, where women can not only connect, but actively build their visibility and authority over time.
On the Kristie Christensen side, I’m continuing to develop and refine my work around authority and branding—through writing, speaking, and frameworks that package what I’ve learned over the past two decades into something others can apply. There’s a natural evolution happening there toward more thought leadership and less traditional service work.
More than anything, I’m looking forward to seeing these two pieces grow together—one as the source of the ideas, and the other as the platform where those ideas are experienced and expanded. It feels like the next chapter is less about starting something new and more about building something that can truly scale and last.
