Community Highlights: Meet Leslie Padron of Lasso and Lush

Today we’d like to introduce you to Leslie Padron.

Leslie, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I have been in the service industry for 10 years now and genuinely love serving people. Throughout my time bartending I have been asked to work weddings and quinceañeras. I then thought of starting my own business doing what I love. I love celebrating others and being apart of peoples milestones in life. Bartending opens up so many friendships and sometimes therapy session’s but it’s a privilege to be able to be a trusting and listening ear. It is an honor to be able to be apart of life celebrations and milestones.

Lasso and Lush was inspired by my Mexican heritage and Texas roots. We embrace the similarities shared in the ranch style life that both Mexico and Texas offer.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I think for me, the only obstacles have been getting leads, not knowing where to start and/or how to approach people in letting them know the service that I offer.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
For lasso and lush, I wanted it rooted in my Mexican and Texan cultures, which both share a lot of similarities. I specialize in craft cocktail bartending. Whether it’s needing just a bartender to bartend or need a curated menu for your special event, we can do both. I have a team of experienced bartenders with the same and loving personality as well as the skills to make an excellent experience for every event we have the privilege to work.

I think what sets me apart in my own business has been my caring personality. I always want the best for everyone, I pay attention to detail and make it a key factor to always be personable and sincere. To leave a little light in someone’s day but to also provide the best and most transparency and consideration when quoting for events.

With lasso and lush you don’t just get a bartender that’s in and out, you get a caring and invested team to help and make any event as seamless as possible.

How do you define success?
Waking up every morning and going to bed every night thanking God for the opportunities and new days. There may be rejections but looking at that with a perspective of just God’s redirection and better plan for you. Being patient but consistent.
