Today we’d like to introduce you to Loren Morris.
Hi Loren, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
Driven, motivated, and desire to help people, those are the three traits I would use when asked to describe myself. While growing up I was active in sports and helping others in my community. Some of my favorite childhood memories include playing soccer games and spending time with my family in my childhood home. When it was time for me to choose my career path, I knew I wanted to do something that encompasses all of the things that I am good at and passionate about. Originally, I chose to go a different career path, I quickly realized that this was not the path for me and I wanted to pave my own way. Reflecting on my strengths and desire to help others I thought about a place that made me the happiest, my childhood home. Real estate was the perfect fit for me. I decided to pursue my real estate license. Throughout the process of obtaining my license, I made connections with local agents and realized that this was my true calling. Researching brokerages in the local area, lead me to Rogers Healy and Associates. Learning more about the industry made me motivated to help my clients find their new residence so they could create some of their happiness memories. On my journey to become a realtor, I have learned a lot about myself and reflected on the decisions that brought me here. Overall, each part of my life has shaped me into who I am today and made me successful in my career. I am excited to use my skills, passions, and experiences to continue to help my clients find a place they can call home.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road I traveled has not always been smooth. When I originally decided to pursue my license, I received pushback from family and friends of the risk of starting by own business. I knew in my heart that this was the path for me and what would make me the happiest even though it was nontraditional. I decided that I had to do what was best for myself at the time and dedicate my time and energy to real estate. Achieving my dream of becoming a realtor was worth every obstacle that I have had to overcome along the way. I know that there will be obstacles in the way on the road ahead as well but you have to overcome challenges to achieve your dreams. Overcoming obstacles has helped me learn skills I will need for the real world at a young age. I am thankful for each obstacle I have overcome because it has taught me something about myself and given me the problem-solving skills I can utilize in my career.
“Obstacles don’t have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don’t turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it.” – Michael Jordan
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Loren Morris Real Estate is a real estate practice specializing in helping and educating first-time home buyers and renters find a place they can call home. I pride myself on making the experience as simple and fun for my clients as possible. The real estate world can be overwhelming and finding a place to live can be stressful. I want by clients to feel at ease throughout the entire process. What sets my apart from others is my communication style and forming genuine connections with my clients. I treat my potential buyers/renters how I would treat my friends/family if they were going through the process. I am most proud of the feedback I have gotten from previous clients about my professionalism. I have lived in the DFW area since I was 4 years old. I am familiar with the ins and outs of the metroplex. No matter the budget or situation I am willing to work with you to find you a perfect fit for you.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
I have had so many people supporting me in my life throughout this process. My family, friends, significant other, mentors, colleagues, etc. the list goes on. However, my clients are the ones who deserve all the credit for my success. Seeing the happiness on their faces when they find a place to call home is why I do what I do. My clients are a huge reason for my success in this business. Working hard for my clients and potential clients is what keeps me motivated and driven.
