Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr. Louis DeGironemo.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I am originally from New York, worked my way through chiropractic school and then medical school, and graduated the top three of my class. I worked to achieve a double board certification in Anesthesiology and Interventional pain. I was trained at arguably one of the best fellowships in the country under my mentor, the world renown Dr. Gabor Racz. I trained under him and Dr. Miles Day, a facial anatomy and facial pain expert. I became an expert in facial anatomy and began to treat difficult medical conditions and debilitating pain with unique procedures and the utilization of botox. I always had a passion for anti-aging medicine with the belief that it’s essential to optimize one’s health internally and externally to slow down the aging process. I have attended numerous conferences throughout the country, obtained multiple certificates for anti-aging medicine, and also now teach my techniques to other doctors . Although we can’t prevent aging, I can utilize my knowledge and skills to slow down the aging process to give patients the ability to look on the outside how they are feeling on the inside and vice versa. Often patients still feel youthful internally and I try to optimize their youth by limiting pain, providing non-surgical, anti-aging procedures to slow down the external appearance of their age, and to have them feeling great through medical hormone and weight optimization. My motto is that “I’m not trying to make you look 20 years younger but rather have you looking and feeling the best for your age. The techniques I developed are not only safe but create the most natural outcomes to achieve an overall balanced preservation of your face and body. The difference between my practice and other chain med spas is the concierge service my patients receive. They see myself the doctor every time and I create a long-term treatment strategy customized to each patient. The plan is to slow the progression of the aging process over many years. I see most of my patients for years and get to know them like family,
I believe that is imperative in order to practice anti-aging medicine correctly,
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Every day is a struggle when it comes to owning your own business. I believe it’s especially hard as a physician because not only do we have to be exceptional at being a doctor and treating patients to produce the best outcomes, but we also have to learn to own and manage a growing business. This isn’t taught in medical school. Also being from New York and transplanting to Dallas also brings new cultural experiences but also creates a struggle to create a niche for myself, be able to network, and build relationships. I have been able to do that by creating a warm bedside manner and treating each patient as if they were family. My results and the experience my patients receive is what has helped build my business. Every day I struggle with where I want the practice to go without sacrificing the highest standards I have set for myself and for the practice and to ensure all of my patients continue to receive exceptional, luxury concierge services with the best results.
As you know, we’re big fans of OMNI SCULPT MD; Aesthetic & Anti-Aging Medicine. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I’m a double-board-certified doctor specializing in anti-aging and aesthetic medicine and pain management. I offer services ranging from Botox, dermal fillers, non-surgical face lifts, face, and neck rejuvenation, hormone replacement, medical weight loss, pain injections, iv vitamin therapy, hair restoration, skincare, collagen and elastin stimulation, PRP (platelet-rich plasma therapy) hand rejuvenation and more.
What separates my practice from every other med spa is the expertise and the concierge services that my patients are getting because it is a physician owned and operated, exclusively. All of my patients receive my expert consultation. I’m not in the business of seeing a patient one time. I create a long-term anti-aging treatment plan which is prescribed and customized to each patient to have them slowly aging gracefully. My Motto is to not make anyone look 20 years younger but rather have them looking and feeling the best for their age. My expertise in facial anatomy and experience injecting thousands of faces and bodies has allowed me to not only evolve as a doctor but also to create my own unique techniques to provide the safest, most natural, and balanced outcomes with minimal to no downtime. My patients are family. Because of my long-term treatment strategy, I get to know my patients, their family, and go through this journey of aging with them over many years.
I’m always accessible and so is my staff and we create that concierge experience for all patients for a long time. From the moment they enter our doors, they are greeted by smells of the five star one hotel in Miami Beach. The personable greetings and refreshments provided by my staff to the pleasant music played throughout the lobby and each room help ease any fear and anxiety they may have. Then when they see me, I begin the consultation process. I immaculately analyze each section of the face, neck, and body with the patient in a warm, caring, compassionate way to further help relieve any insecurities, fears or anxiety. There is no pressure to buy anything and I never push anything on a patient that isn’t in their best interest. Next, the long-term strategy is written out on a prescription for the patient and we decide together the immediate corrections vs future treatments based on budget and other factors.
What were you like growing up?
I’m half Italian and half Syrian. My mother is Syrian and is the youngest of 9 brothers and sisters. My grandparents emigrated to this country and tried to build a life for her in America. I’ve always wanted to be a doctor and help people. I’m the only doctor in my family. I came from a very humble upbringing with no money. My father supported us on a teacher’s salary while my mother worked tirelessly to raise us at home while getting multiple part time jobs to help support us. She always wanted more for me than she had growing up having to be raised by two Syrians immigrants with no money and only their shirts on their back with 9 children. I have always had a strong work ethic and drive to succeed. I’ve always wanted to be the best of what I committed myself to and always worked hard to do so. I grow up enjoying playing hockey and golf and skiing in upstate New York. I was the salutatorian when I graduated chiropractic school and graduated in the top three of my class in medical school.
