Hi Maya, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
Becoming an esthetician has always been a dream of mine. I’ve been doing makeup on myself, family, and friends since the age of 14.
I’ve been running a success business since I graduated high school in 2017.
I’ve always been extremely interested in the beauty industry & my passion has always been to make everyone feel good after experiencing my services or buying any of my products.
My son, Kari, is my biggest motivation and ultimately made me get up and follow my dreams to go to esthetician school and get my license.
Which is how the name 214luxuryesthetics came about. I wanted a name that was significant to the city I grew up in, which is Dallas, Texas, and the rest is history.
I specialize in waxing, facials, microdermabrasions, chemical peels, makeup, eyelash extensions, brow tinting, brow lamination, and much more. Come book with your favorite esthetician in the DFW!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There have definitely been many challenges along the way to becoming an esthetician but nothing major that I can’t handle. I’m built for any and everything that comes my way. This brand is here to stay and bring forth uniqueness to the beauty industry.

I specialize in waxing, eyelash extensions, makeup, brow tinting & lamination, facials, microdermabrasions, chemical peels, eyelash tabs & much more. 214luxuryesthetics is a black-owned brand originated in Dallas, Texas.
I’m here to bring the beauty industry new ideas with me being a multi-serviced businesswoman. I am a 1 stop shop, and eventually, I want to teach the world how to follow my steps and become their own boss as well.
What are your plans for the future?
I’m looking forward to opening multiple salon spas all over Texas. I want at least 3 salon spa locations in 3 major cities. I also aspire to be a motivational speaker and let the world know how to become a young boss and create generational wealth for your families just like me. My ultimate goal with 214luxuryesthetics is to inspire the world
