Today we’d like to introduce you to Melody Krill.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My name is Melody and I have lived in North Texas for 10 years now, but I grew up in Southern CA ♥️. I have been a Monat market partner for 4.5 years because a good friend introduced the products to me. I tried the samples and when I ran out, I panicked 😱 because I needed more! I have hypothyroidism and my hair had looked and felt like hay for so long. I liked the initial results so much that I bought a product pack for the discount. At the time, I owned a successful brick-and-mortar business and I didn’t have time to work anything else. Little did I know I needed this business. I was so busy with my brick-and-mortar business and I was missing time with my kids and they grow up so quickly. I sold my brick and mortar and continued working as an Ultrasound tech. I have two beautiful Rainbow 🌈 Babies named Gracie and Zane, my world 🌎, and three Angels in heaven. I’m married to my high school sweetheart, the love of my life. We’ve spent most of our lives together more than we have been apart! He also happens to be my biggest supporter! My Mama is 78 and we care for her in our home. I am now a retired ultrasound technician of 25 years and now work my MONAT business full time 🙌🏻. I worked full time the first 3.5 years and then retired in the summer of 2020. I now get to drive my kids to school, pick them up, drive my mom to her appointments, and be present in their lives.
2021 was the year of transformation for me, and 2022 is going to be the year of growth 🌱.
Y’all, I am freaking proud!!!
$251,545 is a big number! That is a quarter of a million dollars and that is the amount my team sold in 2021 🤯.
But we don’t sell, we share. We share products we love!
When I owned my brick-and-mortar Ultrasound business, my retail sales never hit close to that number in one year and I did this with my shampoo biz in one year?! No overhead, no inventory, and all from my phone 📱. Oh, and I earned trips to Bermuda, Las Vegas multiple times, and Dominican Republic 🇩🇴.
My personal hair game has improved tremendously! My hair is thicker, longer, softer, and shinier and my skin is so much clearer and youthful. I feel like I’m aging backwards with these anti-aging products.
But what it really comes down to is the smile on my face. This business makes me so happy. I love being a leader and I had zero confidence when I started this journey. I was also over 300 pounds and have lost 135 pounds post gastric sleeve in 2017. I love sharing our wellness products as I continue my fitness journey. I gained over 100 pounds in the pregnancy with our triplets in 2008 and more when we lost them.
I have failed, I have fallen, but I always get back up. Y’all, that’s how we learn in life.

Every time someone makes a purchase or joins my team, I truly do a little happy dance.
We have struggled and we and we hit rock bottom a few years ago when I walked away from my brick-and-mortar business. It was a really dark place and I had never been so depressed in my whole life.
This business is going to help our family have a home to call our own someday, and pay off our debts and so much more! I hope to open a nonprofit to help grieving parents of infant loss someday.
This business helps us put food on the table. It pays for our car payment and so much more, but this year, this year it’s going to help us get our own home 🏡!!! I’m claiming it 🙌🏻.
I’m forever grateful to now be home with my family. I get paid for sharing products that I’m completely head over heels passionate about! I would love to help others do the same!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Yes, there were struggles. I sold my brick and mortar and walked away with a ton of debts. Monat gave me hope again. Hope to give my family a better life.

I believe success comes from life experiences and determination. I don’t believe in good luck or bad luck. I believe in a healthy mindset. It all starts with believing in yourself. We are all worthy and deserving in our hopes and dreams, but you must believe that you can get there. It also takes hustle in your heart and grit. I make sure to dive into self-development at least 30 minutes a day. I listen to a podcast, I write in my gratitude journal, or read an inspirational book.
