Hi Nakeisha, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
I’ve always had a passion for Real Estate and often told my husband one day I was going to do it. Until the day I decided to take the leap and take my Real Estate exam. I drove my family crazy for roughly 8 years by watching all things Hgtv-lol!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Real Estate, in general, is a rewarding yet tough career. The saying “Real Estate is not for the faint of heart” is certainly a true statement. In my experience, I’ve had more highs vs. lows, thankfully! My lows taught me not to take anything in Real Estate personally. Some deals will fall through that are completely out of your control. There is nothing you could have done differently to change the outcome. If I am a client who can’t get approved by a lender-this is Not your fault. If a seller decides to change his/her mind about not selling their home-this is Not your fault. If the inspection report reveals, your client should not purchase this home-this is Not your fault! This is all part of the world of Real Estate.

When I started on this new journey in Real Estate. I truly thought I would sell a few homes here and there, and that will be it! The few homes I sell will make me happy and finally fill my obsession with Real Estate. I had no idea Real Estate would become by true Passion and that helping people would be so rewarding for me. I not only sell Real Estate. I’m a Top Producer, I lead a successful team under Nakeisha Realty Group, and I also mentor and teach new Real Estate Agents. I don’t take what I do lightly! I’m Forever grateful and humbled by all the love, support, and success.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
The quality and characteristic which makes me so successful in Real Estate are truly being myself. I’m very knowledgeable and can negotiate a real estate contact like no other! But what my clients enjoy most is I’m fun, and when they meet me, they truly feel like we have been friends or family forever!
