Today we’d like to introduce you to Pallavi Prabhune

Hi Pallavi , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My journey started unplanned in this field when I joined a Broker’s Office in California. I discovered my passion for this field under his mentorship. He taught me the ins and outs of this business for which I will be eternally grateful to him for!

In California, while being a Realtor, I worked in the operations side of the business. I also worked in the mortgage industry to understand that side better too. Working in both these areas helped me immensely when I talk to my buyers and sellers to help them understand the process better.

In Dallas, I pursued my passion further by becoming a full time Realtor. I love meeting people, understanding and becoming a part of their beautiful journey in the most important purchase of their life! I take great pleasure in working with my buyers and helping them find their dream home!!

Love working with my sellers too where it could be an exciting time towards the next step in their journey along with sweet and lasting memories while they sell their home which was such an important part in their life till now!

I cannot imagine working in any other field now! During my work, I get to meet amazing and lovely people everyday who become an integral part of my life even after their closings! Many of my best friends are who I met in my work while working on my passion!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I won’t say it has been a smooth road. There are challenges everyday which we have to overcome to become successful in this field and stay the same year after year! Every year could be very different than the last.

Your journey is never the same as your colleagues. There is the stress of not being assured of getting paid until you close. It is not like a salaried profession. You have to keep trying to work your way to the top so you do not have this stress anymore.

There are challenges as the market changes. Some times you have to work hard with winning offers to get the dream home for your client. Some markets, you have to work hard for your seller to get them the best price for their dream home!

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
My business model is based on the principle of Ethics, Transparency and Honesty towards my clients! I specialize in Buying and Selling of Residential Real Estate and Luxury Real Estate! I partner in Commercial Real Estate too.

Brand wise I am proud of the fact that all my clients trust me in their most important real estate decisions and also refer their friends and family to me. My Business is 100% referral based! I am fully transparent in the whole process with my clients and they do not have any surprises sprung on them till closing.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
This is a very stressful time for buyers or sellers as large financial decisions are involved. As a Realtor they need to fully trust me with their decisions with the assurance that I am working towards their best interest. I do not take their trust lightly.

I don’t look at them as my next deal and do not drive them towards the highest price for my gain. But instead, I work as their ally negotiating the best possible scenario for my client!

I am always grateful for the trust they place in me in this beautiful journey which I never take for granted!
