Today we’d like to introduce you to Perry Morrison
Hi Perry, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I was 7 the first time I tried wake surfing and my love for it has never left. The first time I tried it I was at a wake surfing camp on lake grapevine and thats where my journey begins. From that point for the next two years I would do the wake surfing camp until I started private lessons. At 9 I did my first competition and got 2nd place and then at 11 I had the opportunity of a life time that forever changed my future. Tige’ boats has sponsored me! From that point my life was filled with lakes, boats, and travel. Now i’m 20, own my own real estate investment company, and do wake surfing lessons, charters, and sponsored events all over the world!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
From the age I started wake surfing to now, it was something that i loved and i never saw as a job. I think I had one of the best opportunities and to be fair, the only thing I would consider a struggle was not being out on the water!

Pdawgsurf is my wake surfing business where i do lessons and charters and. Im known for being one of the top pro wake surfers in the world and specialize in making people fall in love with the sport! What i believe sets me apart from others is the drive and motivation i have as well as the connection i can make with anyone i talk to! Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
I learned that people need the outside and with the boat market blowing up during that time. It showed me how much activities and socialization means in our world.
