Raul, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
It all began with a group of faithful friends that were passionate about loving people and seeing a shift in their city.
LOVING THE HOMELESS IN DALLAS
Our story began with a group of friends all wanting to go to Dallas to simply share God’s love with those living on the streets. We would drive around and hand out bottles of water and food bars from a van and share the Gospel with those that had never heard about Jesus. As we continued to go out month-by-month, we began to see an interest in the Body of Christ to join us. Eventually, we were led to set up tables with food and clothing. As the months passed, the need for us to go out did not decrease, but instead increased.
DOOR-TO-DOOR
Before we knew it, COVID-19 happened. The world shut down, people lost their jobs, and the need out in the streets increased exponentially. As we prayed about how to best serve the communities closest to us during this time of uncertainty, we decided that we wanted to go door-to-door and love people with gift bags. We filled up bags with food and essential items and went into our neighborhoods to share the Gospel and His love with the community. Little did we know the Lord was preparing us for a year of transition.
SHOWING LOVE IN FORT WORTH
As 2020 unfolded, we noticed the amount of need growing immensely in the Fort Worth area. People were transitioning from Dallas to Fort Worth and before anyone realized, there were thousands living on the streets of Fort Worth.
Through much prayer and confirmation, we felt led to go, to love the people on the streets in Fort Worth. Over the past year of loving those on the streets of Fort Worth, we have seen God move in so many incredible ways! We went from 3 friends going out to share the Love of God to a community of over 30 volunteers and a ministry that services those in Fort Worth not only with food and clothes, but with minor wound care, transportation, job placement, and much more.
We are excited to continue bringing Jesus to those in Fort Worth, TX.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
In the very beginning we struggled with simply being able to serve those who were most in need without getting fined by the city due to not following social distancing guidelines while serving those who needed us most and being threaten to get shut down. We also struggled month by month having the amount of volunteers necessary to serve every month and be able to do it with excellence and not be stuck in position where we didn’t have enough hands. We also struggled and continue to struggle with wanting to serve every person and address every need – nutritionally, shelter, medical, hygienic, etc, and not having the resources to be able to do more.
We are still a fairly young group, but we are made up of a group of people that are faithful to Jesus and His heart for this community and so we know that every month, all needs will be met.

Who we are? Deep Love Ministries is composed of a group of Jesus following, Spirit-led believers from all walks of life that have a heart for sharing the gospel, serving, and proactively sharing God’s love with His people.
What do you do, what do you specialize in / what are you known for?
As the Lord very clearly told the disciples in Matthew 28:19-20 and Isaiah 61, our mission is to mobilize the Church out of the four walls and walk in accordance to what Christ has commissioned us to do. Deep Love Ministries is committed to reflecting God’s heart to those that are overlooked, undervalued, and unreached. We currently serve the homeless communities in DFW that are truly in need of genuine, practical items such as food, clothes, hygiene, and much more. We welcome those who desire to see the homeless truly encounter GOD’s LOVE!
What sets you apart from others?
We go where others won’t. We do what others won’t. We do it consistently when others won’t. We give like nothing is ours!
What are you most proud brand wise?
Our brand is the Cross and we place it in front of us and His love expressed through it allow us to experience His compassion for those He places in front of us.

We don’t believe in luck. We believe God order’s our steps as we commit our ways to Him and we get to experience the path (hard or easy) that He desires for us.
