Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
After years of leading the body contouring division under a physician’s practice—where my team earned the distinction of being the number one CoolSculpting provider in Texas and number four in the nation—I realized there was so much more I wanted to offer my patients. While I deeply value the experience gained in that role, there were aspects of patient care and the overall experience that I longed to improve but was limited by oversight. That desire ultimately drove me to open Elite Contours, a practice where I could shape not only bodies but also an experience rooted in my own values, mission, and brand. While I continue to operate with medical director oversight, Elite Contours is a reflection of my vision, designed to provide an elevated and personalized approach to body contouring and aesthetic services.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I have applied much of what I learned at my previous job too my own practice, but there are several things that I had to navigate myself as a new business owner. Such as making my business known to the community that I am trying to reach. It has proven to be much more difficult than I anticipated. There has been a lot of trial and error with ads and pop-up events, planning of events for them to not have any one show, and people telling me no, not interested…it leads me to pivot and try new avenues until I find the one that reaches my desired clientele.
