Today we’d like to introduce you to Rhianna Langwell
Hi Rhianna, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
At the beginning of 2024 I was feeling burnt out in my current career field and was dying for a change. After being heavily involved in the gaming and Esports scene for the past 3 years, I was starting to lose myself and the happiness I found with the work. That’s when an old dream of mine resurfaced from back in 2015, when I had first enrolled in college. That dream was to get my business degree and pursue a career in the music and entertainment field. Throughout my life music has always played a large part of it. Whether it was the 5 years I spent in my high school’s choir, attending concerts since I was 11 years old, and the constant playing of music that would fill my childhood home.
Now throughout college and university I changed my degree a few times, like many do, flipping from business to general studies, general studies to sports medicine before I found my way back to business. Heck, at one era in my life, I was wrapping a bunch of stinky men’s feet so they wouldn’t twist their ankles during the football game. I guess you can say that is quite a change from the life and career I’m pursuing now!
Circling back to my dream, here we are at the end of 2024 and I’m seeing pieces of my dream come together. My content career has grown beyond my expectations for 2024 and I couldn’t be more thankful for the community I’ve found. This community of kind, funny and most importantly strong people who share a love of music, especially k-pop. I’m still in disbelief when someone comes up to me at an event and says, “oh I follow you on so-and-so social media” or “I love your content so much and you inspire me!” In my head, I’m just a local girl from Tulsa, OK with no way of becoming a known content creator on the internet, but where I am!
However, being a content creator is not the only dream I set out for at the beginning of 2024. My dream has been the creation of Seoul Rise Entertainment. An independent music label where my talented team and I will be making waves in the industry with our creative and innovative plans. With the hopes of not only discovering untapped local talent, my team at Seoul Rise Ent and I will be scouting the first superstar K-pop group to be founded in Atlanta, GA. After over a year of planning, finding the right connections and a lot of sleepless nights, I’m looking forward to the official debut of Seoul Rise Entertainment, LLC come 2025.
So yeah I guess you can say it’s been a crazy ride to where I am now, but I am so excited for 2025, and to continue working towards my career goals and dreams.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Is the road towards chasing your dreams and making them a reality ever smooth? I would say mine has definitely been like riding down a dirt road in a car with no shocks. Coming from a middle-class family in the middle of nowhere, there arose the issue of finding the right connections and mentors. Then of course you have the financial struggles that come from starting a business or trying to be an entrepreneur. To an investor, a 28-year-old woman with little money to her name but exploding with passion, could be a risk to invest into. To overcome that hurdle has probably been the biggest bump in the road that I’ve faced but my determination isn’t easily squashed.

Seoul Rise Entertainment (SRE) is a full-service music label and production agency based in Atlanta, GA, aimed at developing, managing, and promoting musical talent globally. With Atlanta’s growing influence in the music industry and a significant international community, SRE is uniquely positioned to be a bridge between Korean music culture and Western markets. Our agency will focus on artist training, content creation, music production, promotion, and touring, with a specific emphasis on building long-term international careers for K-music groups.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
The role that luck has played in my life was the good luck of having amazing mentors and friends. It can be rare to find those in your career field that see and support your vision. I’ve been incredibly lucky to have people around me who support me like they do!
