Community Highlights: Meet Sara Drehobl of LEAGUE Real Estate, Realtor

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sara Drehobl.

Hi Sara, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I’m a Realtor serving what many now call the Westoplex, helping clients throughout Fort Worth, Benbrook, Aledo, Weatherford, Granbury, Burleson, Joshua, and the surrounding communities. I’ve built my business through relationships, hard work, and genuinely caring about the people I serve.

My path hasn’t always been easy. As a single mom, I’ve spent years building both a successful real estate business and a life I’m proud of. Along the way I’ve experienced loss, unexpected life changes, and plenty of moments that forced me to adapt and reinvent myself. Those experiences have shaped who I am today and taught me resilience, empathy, and the value of continuing to grow.

Over the years I’ve become passionate about personal development and understanding why people think, feel, and behave the way they do. I’ve invested a lot of time in becoming more self-aware, breaking unhealthy patterns, and creating a life that’s driven by purpose instead of fear.

While I’ve experienced success professionally, I’m still very much a work in progress personally. I want deeper relationships, stronger emotional intelligence, and a better understanding of myself. I’m drawn to opportunities that challenge me, expand my perspective, and ultimately help me become a better person for my son, my friends, my clients, and myself.

I’m naturally curious and love learning about people, including myself. I enjoy experiences that challenge my perspective, push me outside my comfort zone, and help me grow. I think there’s always another level of self-awareness to reach, and I’m excited to see what this process teaches me.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but I’ve come to believe that the most meaningful growth often comes from the hardest seasons. Building a successful business as a single mom required a lot of sacrifice, long hours, and learning to bet on myself even when things felt uncertain.

Along the way I’ve experienced significant personal loss, unexpected life changes, and relationships that taught me difficult but valuable lessons about boundaries, communication, and self-worth. Each challenge forced me to become more resilient, adaptable, and intentional about the kind of life I wanted to create.

Professionally, I’ve also learned that success isn’t just about working hard. It’s about building trust, staying authentic, and continuing to grow. Some of my greatest lessons have come from setbacks rather than victories.

Looking back, I wouldn’t change those experiences. They shaped my perspective, strengthened my empathy, and reinforced my belief that every challenge carries an opportunity to learn if you’re willing to do the work.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
At LEAGUE Real Estate, I’ve built my business around relationships, trust, and exceptional service rather than transactions. I believe buying or selling a home is one of the biggest decisions people make, and my goal is to make the process feel less overwhelming and more empowering.

What sets me apart is that I genuinely invest in my clients. I don’t believe in high-pressure sales or one-size-fits-all advice. I take the time to understand each person’s goals, communicate honestly, and advocate fiercely on their behalf. Many of my clients become lifelong friends, and a large portion of my business comes from referrals and repeat clients, which is something I’m incredibly proud of.

Beyond helping people buy and sell homes, I love connecting people with the communities they call home. Whether that’s introducing them to local businesses, sharing hidden gems, or simply helping them feel like they belong, I believe real estate is about much more than property. It’s about people.

My brand is rooted in authenticity, integrity, and genuine connection. I want every client to know they have someone in their corner who will educate them, advocate for them, and celebrate with them long after closing day.

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
If I could go back and give my younger self one piece of advice, it would be to stop worrying so much about having everything figured out. Growth comes from taking action, not from waiting until you feel ready.

I’d also tell anyone starting out to focus on relationships before transactions. Whether you’re in real estate or any other profession, people want to work with someone they know, like, and trust. If you genuinely care about others, show up consistently, and always do what you say you’re going to do, success becomes a byproduct.

Don’t be afraid to be different. For a long time I thought I needed to fit a certain mold to be successful, but the opposite turned out to be true. The qualities that make you unique are often your greatest strengths. Lean into them.

Finally, remember that no one succeeds alone. Find mentors, ask questions, stay curious, and never stop learning. The people who continue to grow are the ones who remain students, no matter how successful they become.
