Hi Sarah & Karma, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Playful Kids Club started with a simple idea: a fun, creative mobile kids workshop where kids can explore, and parents can relax and connect.
As moms, we (Sarah and Karma) struggled to find activities that truly engaged our kids—so we created one. What began as small pop-up events quickly grew as we saw the joy on kids’ faces while painting, decorating, and building. Parents kept asking, “When’s the next one?” That’s when we knew we had something special.
Our goal is simple: to spark creativity, encourage hands-on fun, and bring families together. From tie-dyeing shirts to adopting plush bunnies, every event is designed to make lasting memories.
Now, we’re bringing Playful Kids Club to more birthday parties, communities, partnering with shopping centers, resorts, and parks to make creativity accessible for all. This isn’t just a business—it’s our passion, and we’re so excited for what’s ahead!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Starting out, our biggest challenge was getting the word out. We had a great idea—creative, hands-on fun for families—but finding locations and building awareness took time. Some opportunities worked out, others didn’t, but we kept pushing forward.
Without a permanent space, every event was a learning experience—transporting supplies, adjusting setups, and figuring out logistics on the go. Balancing work and family was tough too, with late nights, meetings between school drop-offs, and kids in tow.
Still, seeing the joy on kids’ faces and hearing parents’ support makes it all worth it. The journey hasn’t been easy, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.
We’ve been impressed with Playful Kids Club, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
At Playful Kids Club, we create hands-on craft events where kids can explore, create, and have a blast! From building a stuffy to making slime, every activity is designed to be fun and memorable.
What makes us special? We focus on the experience, not just the craft. Whether it’s a birthday party or another event, we bring the fun to you! As a mobile business, we set up an amazing activity table that keeps kids busy and engaged, so parents can relax while their little ones create something they’ll be proud of.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
Our husbands have been our biggest supporters, helping with the kids, errands, and reminding us how special this journey is. We’re also lucky to have amazing friends who jump in to help with events, and we couldn’t do it without them.
