The start of Kidfirming all began when I noticed a growing need for positive and empowering content for children. While raising my son, who is on the spectrum, I recognized the importance of instilling confidence, self-esteem, and a positive mindset in young minds. This realization sparked the idea of creating a platform dedicated to kid’s affirmations. To engage children effectively, I collaborated with developers to create an interactive and user-friendly platform. Kidfirming offers positive affirmation tools from an app that you can download, series of books, a growing podcast audience, and also fun creative affirmation classes. It allows parents, educators, and children to access affirmations in various formats, catering to different learning styles. Kidfirming has grew beyond my initial expectations. We have transformed into a movement that has touched the lives of countless children, helping them grow into confident, resilient, and optimistic individuals. The legacy of Kidfirming has served as a testament with the potential to foster positive change in the lives of young minds.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Building Kidfirming’s platform for me has honestly been a smooth road. I have been so blessed to have doors opened up to make the process easy to provide these tools to children. Now don’t get me wrong, I have had some struggles along the way, but they have never phased me nor stopped me because my passion for this company to help children is something I love to do. When you pour your heart into something that you love the struggles are unfazed.
As you know, we’re big fans of Kidfirming. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about the brand?
Thank you for being one our biggest fans! We are so honored to have your support! For those who have never heard of us, Kidfirming is best known for our children’s books, but we have developed additional resources such as guided meditation sessions tailored for kids, storybooks that reinforce affirmations, and even a dedicated mobile app for easy access. I think what sets us apart from others in this line of work is our creativity. We get down to the level of children so we can communicate better to keep their attention engaged on positivity. We get to become big kids and have fun, all while creating a safe space for them to learn how important it is to empower yourself. What we take the greatest pride in regarding our brand are our books. We have received countless constructive feedback from parents and teachers on how just one read affected their child in a good way. We also want all readers to know that Kidfirming is here to team up with you to make a difference with your child and give them all tools necessary to show them how awesome they are!
What’s next?
We have huge plans coming forth in the future with our center that we are opening to help children gain the most out of the Kidfirming experience! We will have exciting, fun affirmation classes, support groups for parents, and just be an open door for positive resources that families can come and get help they desire for their child when needed most. We will also be publishing more books that I am excited about because our books have had such a successful impact on kids, so we want to keep giving that back to the community. We are also planning to release a second app for young adults that are a little older so they as well can have access to greatness and a platform they can call their own to uplift themselves with. Another thing we are looking forward to is our podcast! We have some great episodes coming out with awesome interviewers that children will love to hear from. I really think our podcast will open a lot of hearts for children to feel closer to Kidfirming and really understand what we are all about.
