Today we’d like to introduce you to Sudha Srinivasamoorthy.
Sudha, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I worked in Software Industry for a leading IT Firm as a Web Designer for 7 years and there came a point in my life, I had to quit my job. Only during this time, I had so much of time in my hands suddenly and started exploring Baking as a hobby. Slowly this hobby turned into Obsession and Passion and I started baking for my Friends and Family. With word of mouth and great reviews, orders started pouring in and that is how creating cakes have become a full-time profession now.
In early 2020, I designed and launched a website for our brand and made it official as “Sudha’s Cake Studio”. From then there is no looking back.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Transitioning from Technical background to a completely different career path and being a first-time Entrepreneur in your circle with little or no guidance, it was definitely not a smooth road. I had to learn every single thing on my own, made tons of mistakes, and relearned from them. But with Persistence, Patience, Practice, and Passion anything can be possible.

We are a certified Home-Based Bakery based in McKinney, TX serving throughout Dallas areas. Currently, it is just a one-woman team but hoping to expand in the near future.
We create custom cakes for all occasions from Birthdays to Weddings.
Cakes are usually a centerpiece at any party. Our motto is to create something Artistic for your special occasion which not only looks unique and beautiful but also tastes great at the same time. All our cakes are Egg Free, only with Buttercream and not fondant and we really love designing cakes which are Eloquent.
Our clients are the most integral part of the brand as the feedbacks both good and bad helps us do much better always. Our brand was built by just passion and dreams and we are proud of what we create. There are couple of flavors which we offer brings in our culture from India and combine it with western flavors which are one of a kind and delicious. Apart from Cakes, we offer other Desserts like Cupcakes, Macarons, Cakesicles, Cake Jars, Assorted Treat boxes for gifting needs and can design a whole Dessert table for your parties.

All I can say is If you have a dream, believe in yourself, work towards it and definitely one day it will come true. We are hoping to have our own studio in the future where we can continue creating wonderful cakes.
