Community Highlights: Meet Tiffanie Saxton of Lend With Tiff

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffanie Saxton.

Tiffanie Saxton

Hi Tiffanie, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I originally started my entrepreneurship journey in P&C insurance, specializing in homeowners’ insurance. I served my role within Business Development and built strategic relationships with various lending companies to help grow the business. Before the pandemic, I transitioned over to becoming a Loan Officer and wanted to help people fulfill their dreams of owning a home. Being new to the industry at the time, I had to build my credibility amongst my potential referral partners and clients to gain their business. I started with heavy marketing. I used my resources to build my brand through video marketing, social media, flyers, campaigns, etc. I started becoming more active in my community by hosting free home buyer seminar events and teaching the importance of building wealth through homeownership. Over the years, I started becoming my brand. Always leveraging how I am a subject matter expert in mortgages and creating solutions for homebuyers in an ongoing changing market. Even after dealing with the pandemic, I had to utilize my online resources even more to capture the consumer. I continue to build strategic partnerships and provide value back to my referral partners by hosting marketing and branding classes specifically catered towards real estate agents.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The real estate industry is an ongoing market that faces challenges and uncertainties. In my place of business, a lot of different requirements changed, which impacted my book of business. For example, the minimum credit scores increased, first-time home buyer programs were taken away, and excessive overlays were in place. These changes made it harder for my clients to qualify and in tandem, it affected my real estate agent business as well. With the rise in interest rates, home prices, and overall affordability issues, it has been a tough road these past 12 months. I continue to have a positive attitude and provide value by providing solutions to both my clients and referral partners. If someone is not ready to proceed at this time, I provide them with a plan to be in a position to move forward once. The biggest part also being in the right mindset and knowing that the strong will survive these tough times and continue to persevere.

As you know, we’re big fans of Lend with Tiff. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about the brand?
As a Loan Officer, being available is probably the number one item that I hear from my referral partners. So many Loan Officers are not picking up the phone or responding to e-mails, and in this industry, time is of the essence. Being honest and transparent with all parties tremendously increases my reputation. Not all transactions are smooth, but it’s best to be upfront about the situation and bring a solution to resolve the issue at hand. Also, my 5-star reviews from my clients and partners have helped me shine as a Loan Officer within my market because these are real testimonials that I receive on a frequent basis. I’m constantly giving counsel and advice on my social media channels so that people are well equipped with this process, and together, these items helped build my reputation to a high standard; I’m extremely proud of recently launching my “Learn With Tiff” educational series that is specifically targeted to real estate agents. The series is centered around branding, social media, and overall marketing to help agents grow their online presence and attract more leads. This allows me to stand out from traditional Loan Officers, and it’s something that I’m passionate about to give back to my referral partners,

What does success mean to you?
I would define success as someone who has attainable goals, continuous personal development and growth, and strives to make a positive impact on others or the world around them.
