Hi Tra-C, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
I have been baking since college. I use to bake Tea Cakes and sell them on campus to pay my college tuition. One day I was in the mood to bake some chocolate chip; cookies. They tasted just like a regular cookie. I thought to myself, I wonder if I could make them vegan. I had entered a 30-day vegan challenge. I asked my friends and family to try them. They really like them. I developed several other recipes and started a business. I later enrolled in baking class because, I felt the cookies could be even better, I was right! I created 13 flavors including brownies. Then I thought we should have a Vegan Cookie Delivery Company. So here we are 3 yrs. later owning a thriving Vegan Cookie Company.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I have just like other aspiring entrepreneurs faced many challenges. One of the struggles in dealing with disappointments of not getting certain opportunities. For example, I have applied for Entrepreneur Accelerated opportunities and have been denied. This has been very difficult to accept. Nevertheless, I don’t allow it to discourage me for long.

For the past 12 years, I have worked in the Financial Services Industry. We help families improve their quality of life by teaching them how money works.
I am best known for my motivation. I have published several self-help books. I also have a YouTube channel.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
I really like Dallas; it has been extremely good to me. I met my husband of 31 yrs. and born two wonderful children. I am originally from Houston.
