Today we’d like to introduce you to Vanessa Foster.
Hi Vanessa, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
When I look back at my career in marketing and sales; what I find most notable are the diversity in industries I have been able to navigate and master. Through the distinct industries I’ve been blessed to work in; I’ve been able to become an expert in directing any organization’s marketing and/or sales efforts.
In short, I started The Foster Consulting Firm, far before I was able to conceptualize this as a company, even to myself. I’ve always been a very curious and very creative person. As a child, I was extremely interested in the Arts and how the world worked.
I guess you could say that my knack for marketing and sales is rooted in my passion for creative and effective communication on all levels. Being relatable comes naturally to me, I hold an air of openness and humility which people can speak freely. Because I listen to understand, I can comprehend the needs of an organization, customer, or team and therefore bridge any gaps of adversity. I am a keen listener who can quickly help a company identify & translate their voice and story at each stage of the customer journey.
In my current role as CEO of The Foster Consulting Firm, I do just that. I help my clients big and small, translate their stories, products, services, and brands in a compelling way to connect with their audience. In my efforts with this, I have found great success in taking my clients to the next level. I am a competitive individual driven by my passion for people and making connections. I settle for nothing less than the top spot.
The mission of The Foster Consulting Firm is to provide guidance, support, and expertise for entrepreneurs, business leaders, and professionals in branding, marketing, and sales. We strive to provide curated services that are individualized at every stage and level of service.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Struggles you say? Of course!
I would say my biggest struggle was believing in myself and building my confidence that what I had built was something worth sharing and something people should and would pay for.
From there, I think a lot of new entrepreneurs struggle with organization and staying focused and I was no different.
For me, getting a great group of entreprenurial friends was key in my success. Sphere of influence is key in making sure you create the type of life that you are wanting to create.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about The Foster Consulting Firm LLC?
